No disrespect for Floor but I think Noa is more versatile. She can do more things and has more groove. To me Floor sounds too square, you can almost hear her notes very tight to a metronome, which is not a bad thing but certainly not my thing.
If you missed the live chat with Scardust, you can check it out by hitting the button called "Show chat playback" which is located right below the video on desktop/web. Thanks to the band for joining and all those that attended!
In this genre (symphonic prog ?), Scardust are so far ahead of everyone else in terms of songwriting and performance that surely they can rise above the algorithm and become huge. You also won't hear a better female vocal this year.
Join us at 6PM CET/12PM EST/9AM PST on September 18 as Scardust joins the live chat as we premiere the epic new video for their track, "Game of Now"! You won't want to miss it!
I just found the link. I've been aloof lately. I'll be back in full force in a few. I love seeing how you put together this wonderful piece. I see Gal (spl) is fitting in do well. Or with his mega bass and Aaron keyboard runs with Yoav holding it together. Plus the beautiful Noa, woman of many voices. And love the Monks. Lol This video has a different look. Congrats to the new lable. Hope this means I can see you all in the US! Love the song, video, and Scardust! Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. 🍻🌹♥️🤘
Yet another amazing song from Scardust. Noa and Orr are so talented, and combined with the rest of the band and with Hellscore, you can’t fail to be successful! I’ve been a fan for a few years now, and recently surprised my friend Nicky (from Tel Aviv) when I told her I was a fan. Keep on rocking, and stay safe. 🤘🥰
The Mysterious Monks are back :). Great song, still very much Scardust, but an evolution. The new members are making their mark! Looking forward to hearing more and to a new album!
I remember reading a claim that Noa took some lessons from Floor. No idea if that's true. The growling certainly reminds me of Floor. Be that as it may, the vocals are simply stunning! As is the music and the video 🤘❤
That would explain a LOT since Noa's voice from day 1 has been giving baby Floor realness, tbh. Her vocals remind me of Floor if her voice wasnt so massive and powerful at the same time xD Noa's incredible.
;ove it! Such a strong song! Absolutely brillant musical virtuosity & great video production! I don't listen to metal music usually, but I am a Scardust fan. Stay safe everybody. Love & peace to ALL ❤
This is definitely different from the sort of music we know from Scardust. Noa’s vocals are as outstanding as always, but aside from that I’m not entirely sure how to feel yet about this one
@@connor040606 not always. Like I said the vocals are great but I expected there to be, well…more going on musically. This honestly seems pretty bare bones and basic for a Scardust song and the fact that a large bulk of the lyrical work is just “welcome to the game of now” being chanted over and over again also leaves me a bit underwhelmed. Hopefully their intention is to have this as an introduction track that sets things up for song #2. I do like the part towards the end where it speeds up though.
@@eslwgpg1226 I do agree musically there is not much going on initially, but it does a great job of allowing the vocals to shine. I think this was intentional, and of course it ramps up right before the ending. Makes me very excited to hear the rest of the Album. I find that many people don't like change musically, especially when it comes to bands they like.
I'm worried that the new guitarist is going to disrupt the magic of what they had. And with this "uninteresting" (for scardust atleast) track I'm not very hopeful for this album. I'd love to be proven wrong tho!
@@johanandersson5846 I’m hoping this song is just going to be an intro track to build suspense for the rest of the album. I’m all for experimentation in music but just dumbing down your sound is a whole different thing entirely.
Need to hear the song again to absorb it some more, but Noa's vocals gave me goosebumps. I am simply in awe of her mastery of her instrument. Also, she is stunningly beautiful. Every single solo was amazing.. but if I'm being honest they felt a bit... obligatory?
@@viniciusmoretti I've known and listened to Scardust since the beginning. Frontiers has the job of taking bands and bringing them to its producers (usually Del Vecchio or Mularoni) who bring the sound of all the bands to be similar. Sometimes Frontiers also tries to shape the bands' style towards more commercial solutions. That's why it's not so good
@@SamBrem76I understand your point and I agree, sometimes bands from Frontiers tend to have a similiar kind of pasteurized sound to each other, specially the new ones. Still I think it is a great opportunity for Scardust to grow on recognigtion and perform more shows over different places. Frontiers have the right tools to make this happen.
Well, I love Scardust. From a talent standpoint, that's still going strong. The visuals clearly had more resources invested. Unfortunately, this song didn't work for me. I don't think it's a change or a new sound that is hanging me up. I'll pin this and come back to it. Perhaps it is part of a concept album and the song is telling the story? On its own, I'm a bit surprised honestly. FF 7 months, listened again. I appreciate the guitar solo in this, yet it feels like Scardust trying to do a version of Nightwish's Noise. You give it a shot and hope, not everything can work out - just the melody here isn't imo working. I spent about an hour listening to reactions to Concrete Cages, that's the formula my friends.
Listening a second time as I type. Music is really solid. Great bass line and drums. Epic guitar. Love the chanting. For the first half, the vocals don't seem to match the energy. They sound thin and lack punch.
Noa has an incredible voice! INCREDIBLE!
Scardust + immaculate videography = ❤️
You guys are really an incredible band ! Bravo ! And for the lyrics, well... We feel you 😂😂😂
Noa Gruman's voice is so versatile she can sing almost everything like Floor Jansen

Every member of this band is an absolute master of their craft.
The new guitarist Gal Gabriel is no less of a badass on guitar than Yadin Moyal was, well played Gal!!! I was very impressed 😊
Thank you! I appreciate that :)

Great new Scardust song & Noa is so beautiful & the whole band amazingly talented, not to mention Hellscore. Can't wait for the next album.
Have seen you in Cologne yesterday at E-Werk as opener to Blind Guardian! What a great performance! Such a great voice!
