For all its bugs, i think this has been the best upstep fpr realism in career mode in a long while. I have always hated how fast the gameplay was and now the realism is much better
For some reason injury severity only works when you are actually playing every match I put it on 100 and played one game, got three injuries, and then simmed the rest of the season and not one
Tbh I think you should give a Wimbledon rebuild another shot: you got really screwed over with that sacking and I feel like it could make for a great video. There's also my club, Bari. You could make a career mode with it and have to keep a net spend of 0 until you get to the Serie A and accept any transfer offer from Napoli because of the current ownership situation. Also, once you get to the Serie A, because right now a member of Kuwait's royal family seems to be interested in purchasing the club, you may have to scout youngsters from Kuwait and try to develop at least one. You could also try and remake the famous "Bari dei baresi" and only play italian academy youngsters or players from the city of Bari.

Question, I disabled transfers completely on the settings and teams are still making huge transfers deals right away.. does disabling it just stop me from making transfers? Otherwise what would be the point of transfer embargo as that’s the same thing? does this mean that disabling transfers is broken and doesn’t work?
Surely that has to be a bug. Why would they make a “non transfer mode” just for the player? You can just decide not to sell anyone you don’t need a mode for that surely 😂😂😂
Impossible because there's that stupid hidden mechanic of ever increasing pass error with every pass you make without losing possession. If you don't believe me, try stringing 10 passes together in your own half and trying releasing your winger with a through ball. 9/10 times it will fail. Now, do the same thing but instead of 10 passes, only make 2-3 passes before releasing your winger with a through ball, you'll have far more success.
I have to say, I’m not really enjoying the gameplay this year. There are moments I like, especially adjusting the AI behavior, but my players just don’t perform well. Most of the time there are a few players in the opponent’s box, and sometimes, my AI teammate stops a counterattack to drop back, even with offensive tactics. Every attack feels the same - run down the wing, cross, score. It’s boring. Scoring from open play seems impossible due to the lack of passing options. Maybe it’s my formation. Any ideas or suggestions?
I haven't had that issue myself, maybe once or twice but I think it could just be the formation and the player roles you set, as some players don't have a playstyle so may struggle to understand the role. That could be wrong but that's my takeaway from it all, as I have enjoyed the gameplay this year myself.
Tactics have been overhauled too much imo, they should have blended the new system with the old system instead of an outright switch. It's very finicky but you can get your players to play better, just have a proper in depth look at what each kind of role actually does. Took me about 20 different tactics setups before I finally figured out what they were actually doing
The defensive AI is very good for both the CPU and the AI, but the attacking AI is rubbish. They don’t make any runs in behind, and none of the CMs will join the attack, they just stand still so you have to force something to happen if you play on simulation mode
If you change transfer settings to ignore first window will that be the case for each new season on manger mode or is it literally just going to be ignored for the first window of the first season.
Players feel like they’re stuck on mud the animations are so clunky and there is no fluidity the attacks at all, if anything the whole “tactics” element to the game is worse than fc24 as u can’t adjust a players position now manually
I thought the simulation sliders are broken they was really good first couple days but after awhile of playing they are so bad so many boring games and it’s got nothing to do with the pace of the game as I love the simulation based football but everyone just plays the same for first time in a while I’m actually enjoying the classic gameplay on legend the game are pretty tight

Academy players having low diving is not bug,it is actually quite realistic because usually academy goalies have diving as their main weakness,also most of the academy players have low heading,which makes sense too
Lower diving and heading would make sense for youth players as you said, but the game could still benefit from them being higher than they currently are. People are complaining about diving because the stat is so low that it is difficult to train youth GKs to ever be usable in your main squad.

Some of them are so dumb, the change for training plans i tried both settings and both are equally bad. Your players are either constantly lacking sharpness or always fully fit which means you don’t need to rotate or have a big squad. The automated one seems the way to go. Press conferences are broken and the interface is terrible

@@louiepearson7410 when defending or attacking, my whole team doesnt want to sprint haha, iv messed about with settings reinstalled the game after deleting, im not the only one apparently and its a recurring bug, im sure a patch will sort that but for now its unplayable .... its a buggy mess as per usual but i will never learn not to preorder

It’s realistic that players are not interested in your league or that the club doesn’t want to sell him. That makes it more realistic then being able to play with Birmingham and buy Bellingham and Vinicius

My players doesn’t do what I programmed them to do, the player switch has gotten better worst. The game would make me Select a player that is nowhere near the ball rather than a player that is Simply the closest to make an interception but literally just stand there. I have conceded more than 28 goals within the first 10 minutes of the half. No I’m not shitte the game doesn’t allow me to select what I want. £70 for a game that isn’t fully developed. Does EA think this is acceptable. I don’t play around with the (so called) sliders but had to tweak them. I have been saying this for a good 6 FIFA’s I won’t buy it again but now 1,000,000% this will be my final one. Us fans worldwide should Protest/Boycott EA games. Pathetic service & DEI woke BS!!!!

Wind on high definitely changes the game, long balls are lofty and takes longer to get there or makes you move towards the ball
The wind effects have been very noticeable when set to high, but low and medium seem the same to me. I haven't noticed anything on medium

injury frequency is an issue ir ur getting 1 injury in 30-40 games. should bump it up to 90, FC24 i leave it on 99 for a tough challenge

To be fair that's more accurate to real life as young players are actively encouraged to not head the ball now.

Yes only 15, ea have said they have no plans to change that anytime soon. They maybe might look at it in the future, but I wouldn't hold out hope

Downsize your squad and buy correctly. There's no need to have a giant squad.
