    I made your recipe for sweet pudi kozhukattai and ammini kozhukattai 3 to 4 times. It came out very very soft. Many of my friends asked me how I made it. I felt very happy. I have asked them to view your videos ma'am.

    Mami i made this pidi kozhakuttai today on the occasion of sankatahara chaturthi and given as prasadam to our ganapati temple in Pune.. turned out well..distributed the prasadam in temple..it tasted awesome mami thanks a ton....

    Thanks for teaching me a new offering for Lord Ganesha. I was always under the impression that Pidi kozhakkattai is Upma kozhakkattai, which I always make as a tiffin item in our house. Of course, not for neivedyam on Chaturthi.

    I had been searching for this! My mother would always make it for Vinayak chathurthi. Didn't know much about kitchen affairs then. So just ate. The way you prepared with the story made me teary. My mother would narrate the story, dip vaishti in termeric water, dry it ready the previous day for my brothers and father to adorn.missing that family touch in today's hectic namesake puja n life.     Can sugar be used instead of jaggery. I find jaggery too sweet especially for diabetics.

    What is the difference between this pidi kozhukattai and karadayan nonbu kozhukattai
    Both are same ingredients

      Pidi kuzakatti rice rava non rosted. Nonbhu adi rice mavu

    Madam thank you for the recipe and the pillayaar story. We are non-vegetarian so do we use the to garland the 'poonool'for clay pillayaar? This is my first doubt and the second one is if we make manjal pillayaar after pooja what do we do this manjal pillayaar? Please clarify my doubt because first time I'm going to buy the clay pillayaar... Thank you madam...

      Hi ma not necessary to put poonal on vinayagr. 2nd in u r family ladies can use while taking shower . If not just
      Kept it in your garden or pot.
