I've been a casual ASMR-listener for almost two years now, but only recently have I come across your work. It's the best I've seen, I'll never watch a lackluster "cranial nerve examination" again. The level of effort and storytelling acumen you bring to these videos is far above par and deserves recognition.
I stopped really caring too much about the ASMR qualities of your videos a while back, now I'm just interested in the stories you tell! The ASMR doesn't hurt though!
It makes me sad and happy that this channel isn't widely known. Fantastic ASMR and storytelling that deserves to be recognized, but at the same time, it's like this special little thing... I don't know. Best fantasy roleplays the ASMR community has ever seen.
You were one of the first two ASMR-tists that I found on UA-cam eight years ago, and I think you're the reason why I have a preference for deep, grumbly, gravely male voices. :-) It's good to see you return, sir, and I hope you're doing well.
I am a really big fan of dragons and I really like your voice and your voice and a dragon just sounds perfect together and I'm basically just fangirling over here your voice is so amazing
WOW! This legitimately makes me feel like i'm listening to an ancient legend. I've come up with some pretty legit sounding legends myself but this,THIS sounds like something a dragon would tell. AMAZING JOB! among my top new favorite ASMR vids.
Um, no, you still wpuld have trouble: hunters, adventurers, builders, miners, masons, etc. And even then if that doesn't happen, you have a bunch of real life animal problems. Plus, only if you have the essence(basically a dragon's soul) already in you, then you would be able to reincarnate as a dragon in most legends about TRUE dragons.
Sorry, but no. These videos are my own writing, and are part of a larger writing project that I am working on. If you would be interested in having me write something specifically for your book, let me know and we can discuss terms. :)
Out of curiosity, have you considered writing/reading short stories for this project? I listen to Aalvier when I'm having trouble sleeping and it'd be neat to have a full narrative to drift off to.
Purple scales can mean one of three things: 1) You are a new species of the scaled races, most likely born from black scale parents whose diet included irradiated iron or iron containing a lot of specific impurities, similar to what gives amethyst its color. 2) You or someone else painted your scales, likely for a festival of some kind, but possibly for war. You may or may not have become intoxicated and forgotten that it is only paint. 3) You are a red scale who has contracted an uncommon fungal infection; if you are experiencing a burning, itchy sensation that is mitigated only by bathing in water that has a high sulfur content, then this is most likely. It is also possible that you are not from Aalveir at all, and that you have arrived here via plane shifting or magical accident. If that is the case, then I bid you welcome! :)
Wow...I am SO remembering this for my Wyvern Chronicles. This is the first of your videos I've ever watched - are all your Aalveir vids a mysterious papa dragon telling stories to his hatchlings? If they are, and if the next two I watch are as good as this one, I'm hitting Subscribe! Not so much on tingles, at least this time through, but I'll probably get 'em when I listen with headphones! Low, growly voices can do it for me! =D
I really like your CAT EYES at the start of your video Maybe i can use you a a voice actor in the future I need a intimidating bad guy voice of a Dragon on a icy planet my Sabertooth Cat meets... I will get back to you in a few months Great voice!👍
No worries, and welcome! Aalveir is the name of the planet; it sits in a bowl of water on the back of a celestial dragon. In the language of the gods, Aalveir means "punishment". The dragon telling the tale doesn't have a name (at least, I haven't named them yet).
@@astrallis7873 do you mean Sasskaa? Yes, that is the dragon carrying Aalveir. Sasskaa is in the language of the dragons. The gods call him Kyuu. On Aalveir, it's easy to tell where someone stands on the world creation mythos by whether they call the dragon Kyuu or Sasskaa.
@@astrallis7873 yes, the Trial is only for becoming a dragon (to protect the clans). The false dragon has no name; the scaled folk will not say it, and the warm bloods don't know it.
Evelyn Blackwood:D Oh yes! I have not read the Dragonlance books, but I have been playing D&D since I was five. In fact, Aalveir started out as a campaign setting I created in 1991 for the group I was playing D&D with at the time, and over the last year, I have been working to turn it into its own game system. Are the Dragonlance books very good?
Well the "New adventures" series is incredibly gripping and full of wonderful characters and magic. The main focus isn't on the dragons, but on a rag-tag team of different races. They're beautifully written and there are 3 different series; the main series which comprises of 8 books, and two different spin-off trilogies. Dragonlance also made multiple other short novels specifically about dragon-based stories, which are very good as well. I've read them all.
I think it could sound a lot better if it was less metallic; a softer, more fluid sound that kept the..."growling" sound. I didn't come here for a story, but I'll definitely check it out later. Good job!
I didn't see a link or a warning that you would not be doing more videos at all. Are you doing more videos? Or am I going to be forced to give more of a shit to Epic Asmr. Dude. Please don't stop making videos
I haven't stopped; I've just been dealing with a lot of death, injustice, and depression over the last year. I have several projects nearing completion, in fact. That said, EpicASMR does some pretty great work! I really like his negative ASMR experiments (I would, since my Tapping Into Fear project is similar in focus). Thank you for your concern, but rest easy; there are more Growling Whispers on the horizon. :)
Thanks for reply man. I feel for your losses and I hope you find peace. Thank you for everything you have done so far and I wish you good health. God speed
This video has me questioning the scope of ASMR... where heightened sensitivity presents a problem. I can tell you're a talented voice artist but I can't listen to anymore. The timestamp is 27 seconds; that's as far as I can get. Why? ...embarrassing to admit, but it's just too scary sounding for me to relax. :( I'm actually too frightened to continue. Am I alone in this? I don't see any other commenters with this problem. And can you recommend another vid on your channel for me?

It's fine.
wow nice
First 15 seconds
FUCKING FINALLY, a deep voice that I can get carried off to. I'm gonna enjoy this big time!
As a baby dragon I would be a abyssal whelp

Thank you! I am doing better than I have been in years, actually. It's good to be making videos again.
That voice is.... oddly attractive. I demand more of it :U
Holy crap dude you're amazing! You got a new subscriber :D Thanks for the tingles!
This was actually really nice to listen to. I was unsure at first, but got pretty engrossed in the story.
The series I've been writing the longest has to do with Dragon's in human form. Love them!
After the video is about to end, his deep voice starts whispering softer and even softer when he tells a warning for you.
More videos please!! (:
I imagen this is what the ever lasting dragons sound like
13:04 HE'S WARNING YOU EVERYONE!!!
gravely goodness...
baby draco!
I got chills
I'm so lucky I caught this before falling asleep. I hope to dream of dragons. Love your work.
This is great, you've earned yourself another sub :) Keep up the good work!
Everything you do is magic, my dear.
Your voice is amazing dude. Subbed!
I Love you Master 😍😊
I would PAY to hear you do the World of Warcraft Cataclysm trailer/intro.

Uwahahaha~! I shame I was one step ahead and had already watched it >:3 I've listened to all the Aalveir things now! -triumphant laughter-
His tale of The False Dragon is a warning for those who are trying to kill themselves to become dragons.
I kind of want to hear the tale of the juicy cow now.
Where have you been??
Suffering from chronic depression. Doing my best to keep recording, though. Thank you for your concern. :)
I would love to become a dragon. I could sleep for years without any trouble

Oh that is a perfect example!! Ahahaha too good!!
I'm getting real D&D and Dragonlance feels from this.
It sounds like the arbiter from halo. AWESOME
You absolutely have to become a voice actor! I could listen to you speak about anything lol
I
Amazing video. Can I use this in the book I'm making? The words, in a text form. Please?

The trial of Sasskaa is dangerous! Don't do this to your family or yourself. This is not a joke!
Out of curiosity, have you considered writing/reading short stories for this project? I listen to Aalvier when I'm having trouble sleeping and it'd be neat to have a full narrative to drift off to.

I love the ambient sounds and the original stories. Anyone recommend anyone else who has solid storytelling with the ambient background fx

Cool! Thank you for the recommendation. I will definitely check them out. :D
Audio editor or do you naturally lower your voice
A bit of both. I can almost sound like that naturally, but it taxes my voice fast, so it's easier to just adjust the pitch in post.
His voice is creepy, but in a good way🙂
How do you make your voice sound like that?
Holy shit this sounds a lot like something that would be in dark souls or something.
