Since the first time I heard Gurudev and everytime I hear his words, all I can do is bow down with deeper reverence to this great master! Wish I be blessed to have his darshan some day to bow down at his feet
Pranam to Master, Thanks for the wonderful talk. Just something I wanted to express from my experience. I feel what Ramana Maharishis method is a technique where there is no separate emphasis on body or Nadi. What is told is to catch hold of the "I am" and merge your mind in it. His explanation is that even though heart centre is in that region where we feel "I am" this has nothing to do with it. He just says catch hold of the source. Then in a different context when he is asked about Kundalini he gives explanation with regard to Sahasrara and says reaching Sahasrara ensures Samadhi but not permanent abidance in Samadhi because the Vasanas can remain. For that he suggested the travel from Sahasrara to the Heart through Jivanadi which is related to Sushumna. But that is only when it is seen from a Yogic point of view. From his vision there is no separate body, there is only one fundamental principle which is the source and that source reverberates in the body as I Am. From a Tantric Kundalini point of view there is a mentioning of something similar where ascend of energy through Sushumna to Sahasrara and then descending coming to rest in base centre. And in Tantric Kundalini Sushumna is the only Nadi that is shown directly to connect into Sahasrara.

Not only that even other literature from other traditions,like Sufism,Buddhism etc! Really commendable for him,since he is a Muslim. One living example of the unity in diversity,of how we are ONE,where Hinduism & Islam, meet!
Kashmir was an important centre of this confluence,Sufism & Shiavism flourished,& absorbed into collaborated with each other!! Heaven on Earth!!

I am a devotee of bhagwan and I listen to all the spiritual talks and I happen to hear your discussion also and thought I will bring it to your notice the katha upanishad , dweetaya valli stanza 16
Bhagwan has appreciated the separation of body from him is the essence and that would be from the heart Center and same is discussed in katha yoga
