I made my first vase tonight. A large vase for in front of my daughter's fire place. I wish I could say all went very well but, that would not be the truth. I did some things wrong. The first was a problem with my patience! I don't have a lot of that. I should have waited much longer for each step to dry. All in all, it turned out quite well. Especially since it was my first. And it will be nice enough to give as a gift. But the net one will be allowed to dry well before I move on to the next step. I used Plaster of Paris for this first one because it's cheaper and I wouldn't feel so bad about the money lost if I had to throw it out. And I think I will continue with the plaster until I become a little more proficient at making vases. I really enjoy watching your videos. Everything you make is so pretty! You are so talented!!! Thank you for sharing with us!!!
