Normally, when you do normal attacks with a catalyst character, the weapon they are using appears besides them. But when Nahida attacks, you can't see her weapon, and only after you stop attacking the weapon appears. So technically she isn't using her catalyst even to do normal attacks.
So switch before she whips out her catalyst
Same with Ningguang. Both Normal and Charged ones dont show her catalyst.
I think miko too her attack don't show her weapon only charge attack if I remember

use yae miko cuz its a gohei not her actual catalyst
How is Heizou not in the team? Even though he is a catalyst but he is clearly fighting with his fists and legs

@Axterix13 but he didn't invalidate Cyno's burst "e" that clearly has summons a spear, and he justified it as not using his "actual" weapon. Child is fair game.

Yaoyao would have been a pretty good choice to use with cyno, since she doesnt use her weapon in neither skill or burst
I'm pretty sure that Ningguang's NA don't use catalyst as she shoots rocks at enemies, similarly with Heizou primarily using his fists, but it is more entertaining to watch you not use them
id consider ningguang's rocks part of her catalyst magic and heizou infusing his fists with anemo using his catalyst

And Nahida does not bring out the book at all with her E. But even if you wanted to arbitrarily say no catalysts, Collei and YaoYao could be your dendro as they don’t use their main weapons on E or Q. YaoYao doesn’t even use her weapon at all in her kit.
I mean ... Albedo just slam his hand to ground using his E And wave his hand using Q.... As Albedo main seeing this forgotten Is... Sad.
Moga, you can destroy the orb during the shogun fight without electro. It takes longer but it's perfectly doable.

You could've actually used a good Cyno quickbloom team with Cyno, Yelan, Collei and Nahida since Nahida's Skill doesn't use her weapon.
nor does she use it for her burst
Or even sub Collei for Raiden's E. Or Layla for a shield.
Thought he was going to just use basic lvl 1 white weapons from a blacksmith or chests.

Yao Yao would've been a great addition, Dendro, doesn't use polearm and can heal with both E and Q
All hits often, and you need that constant damage causing for Dehya's E. I'd definitely go with her over Bennett. Though I do feel obligated to point out that her name is Yaoyao. No space.

I did watch. But he didn't name Heizhou, and he technically doesn't even use his weapon like other catalyst users who bring it out to cast their attacks
@@SuzaM390 so what if he didn’t name him, that’s so irrelevant bc it’s not like he named any other catalyst character too other kokomi and anyways still catalyst includes all catalyst characters, heizou does use his book too bc even though yes he has an emo vision the tweapon that the character have shows how they use it and heizou throws punches, now if he had like a sword he wouldn’t b able to do that. so therefore he technically does use his book

I think some catalysts are fair game, some of their skills/bursts dont make their catalysts appear so itd be the same as not using them.
If you want an actual team that doesn’t use weapons you can use Yao Yao (she just uses yuguei) Fichil (OZ) Cyno, and Yelan for a HyperAgrivate team😊 P.S. Fichil can help with Cyno’s no energy generation

Made me realize that I have weapon less team with fishel albedo layla and yao yao. Cast e and wait

You could have used miko. She doesn’t use her weapon for normal attacks, she uses her stick (idk what it called) I’m not sure for her skill and burst cuz I don’t have her.
he made a point at the end that all catalysts are in a gray area because u could argue that any elemental damage from them is from spells they use the catalyst for
@@osannadeng yes but she don’t use her catalyst to attack. The weapon doesn’t show up when you normal attack. Like when he said about wanderer at the end, his weapon doesn’t show up when u use his skill
@@ayumilily he also pointed out it was a gray area and that’s why it was safer if all catalysts were avoided
@@osannadeng well just trying to help but it would be smarter to check all characters, even though it would take a long time. Tbh it’s better then losing my sanity for this challenge(my opinion)

maybe moga could try this challenge again but change a few characters every time ! since i think if catalyst users could be included, there'd actually be a lot to choose from (in no particular order, also correct me if i'm wrong, this is just a list off the top of my head)

With Yae Mikos basic attacks, E and Burst sHe doesn't take out her weapon only in her charged attacks
You should make a video with abilites that work themselves for example: Oz, Baron bunny, Yuegui, Yae mikos turrets, Albedos elevator, Zhongli pillar etc.

The polearm in cyno’s burst is his last normal attack, his e is just him slamming the floor
I cried every time he swapped to Cyno under Ganyu burst instead of doing Dehya burst. You can't normal, Moga. Superconduct does nothing for you. Get those melts, Cyno after.
Pretty sure collei is also usable, she uses her boomerang and cuilein anbar not her bow

Btw just wanted to mention, albedo is perfect for this challenge, since he doesnt use his weapon either in his burst or his skill, venti is also pretty good too since he doesnt use his weapon either and he is just casting spells, heizou also just punches which isnt even a weapon either, diona just uses cat paws to gain a shield and throws a drink to heal, sayu rolls around and then heals with her burst, so no weapon used, kuki also does the same thing, she doesnt really use a sword outside of her burst, qiqi just uses her heal and that doesnt really use a sword or weapon either, layla is good for shield and cryo burst and it doesnt looks like she uses her sword at all, dori is also good too with the electro and her lamp which isnt really a weapon. Barbara is good too but its barbs, so its up to you with that, FIschl just uses oz mainly for sub dps, same thing with albedo's case. Lastly, collei is okay too but I dont know if a boomerang is considered a "weapon" in this challenge if its just the swords, polearms, catalysts etc. I dont know fully what "weaponless" means if it looks like a weapon it doesnt count or if its the main weapons in genshin. But thats my list of other characters to use, there are probably more that I didnt look through thoroughly but yea hopefully moga sees this!!

Funny thing is that Nilou bloom team probably doesn't use any weapon (Nilou, Nahida, Yelan, Yao Yao)

I'd argue that, from what I've seen, you should be able to use Heizou. He just punches. (Don't have him, so can't say for sure.)
Cant he just use most catalyst chars? I mean scara just uses his hands, just like yae miko (stick) he really missed some good opportunitys in this Challenge
Nope, he can't, because he ruled them out, because "using catalyst to cast spells". Personally, I don't think that's necessarily the case, since non-catalyst users can also do stuff with their elements at range, so there's no reason why a catalyst user can't do some stuff free of their catalyst.
But, really, ruling them out is a good choice for the Challenge. Access to catalyst users would make it pretty pointless, when you gain Yae and Nahida.
It always comes down to Hyperbloom: Cyno, YaoYao, Nahida, Yelan

when i saw the title i assumed it's a "1-star level 1" weapon challenge since that sounds more like no weapon rather than using skills and bursts with 5 star weapons

Id argue you could use heizou. His weapon doesnt show up for any of his attacks despite being a catalyst. (Seriously, it doesnt appear until AFTER he goes into a resting position after fighting lol. Its not technically used for his normal, skill or burst.)

AFK comps would be good for this! Things like Layla skill and burst, zhongli and Albedo skills and bursts, raiden doesn’t use her weapon for her e. Stuff like that! I love afk comps 😂

The team would be something like:
Cyno, Yelan, Yaoyao, Collei
As mentioned, yelan doesnt actually use her bow. Neither does collei for her skill or burst and yuegui doesnt require weapons either.
It might feel a little weak due to the lack of nahida, but overall probably one of the better teams for this type of challenge (and its probably suited for clearing the abyss also)
Edit: energy requirements for cyno are probably the biggest problem, but as long as yelan, collei and yaoyao are on favge you might be fine
Collei does throw her bow as boomerang in her skill

I may have missed something since I mainly only "watch" Moga's vids as background noise, but why did he not use Dehya's burst for Raiden? Especially at the end of the fight.

for catalysts heizou doesnt use his weapon at all, like i think its implied hes just directly channeling anemo into his fists and he just uses a catalyst for mechanics

Fun fact klee works every skill of hers because its her bombs she made not the spells she casts her bombs dont count as a weapon since her weapon is catalyst

Raiden burst is a grey area but would work imo since her burst sword isn’t an equipped weapon, no weapon for her skill either.
Nahida skill and burst, yelan, Yao Yao, sucrose. Lots of options! Kaeya burst, sayu skill and burst. I would have built a strong dendro team, either with bloom, hyperbloom, or aggravate.
Would you count Nihida taking a picture? Or Fischl summoning Oz? Because the team could have been Cyno, Fischl, Nihida Yelan (if you don't mind skipping a healer)
Albedo could have been so good for this challenge. No weapon on skill or burst, massive particle generation and skill is on a 4 second cd.
I would use catalysts because they still dont use the catalyst when Nahida E and Q same with Yae or Kokomi E for a heal
Some characters you could use could be
Ganyu, Dehya, Bennett, Wanderer, Zhongli, Xiangling (she doesnt use her weapon in her skill and burst, i believe), Yelan, Yae miko, Fischl, Nahida, Sayu, Kujou, Sucrose (I think, but I'm not sure) Layla, Kokomi E, and so much more but I'm too lazy to find them lol

Wow. This was an easy one, but you picked the wrong characters.
Nahida's E doesn't use a weaopon. Raiden's E doesn't use a weapon. That is halfway to many of the best reactions in the game.
Add in ZL or Layla for a sheild and even triggering the E's from Raiden/Nahida. (layla would work great with Yelan)
Then a non-weapon reaction for your chosing.
Yelan's E would work. You could even limit yourself to Mona's passive for water application. Or use Sayu or Venti for swirls with E, which doesnt use a weapon.
Or use Yelan/Cyno bursts to fully use Yelan's burst.
You picked one of the worst synergistic teams.

U could use nahida and kuki with cyno as well as yelan which is a pretty solid team ,fischl works as well
If Cyno using his claw is okay, why didn't you thought of using Heizou? He literally uses his fists. If you say that's because all catalyst users use their vision elemental powers, then the same can be said for the ones you've chosen too.
You could've used yanfei she doesn't technically use her weapon for her normal attack she throws rocks with fire
Cyno, fischl with a ton of er for cyno, nahida, kokomi(? Can’t remember if her jelly fish uses her weapon)

Imagine if this game gave use challenging, varied/randomised content we could play for a while every day and earn a small amount of gems, instead of feeding ducks or taking shouta to a shrine.

U could use yae norm atk just not charge since she only uses her lil staff for that
Now do the reverse where you have to do attacks with only weapons, meaning their weapon has to be used in the burst, e, normals etc, and be shown in the process of usage, not like nahida E or something. I'd argue bursts are going to be a lot rarer lol
