That peter impression is so spot on my god
I didn't expect to die laughing from my dose of YHI today. Bless you guys, that was super fun, a bit of fan service! Also I dig the pentatonic idea!
Man, I know it's a Monday but it sure does feel like a rather Freaky Friday
I’ve been watching you guys regularly for many years now and this had me lol ling more than any episode
This was hilarious. Made my day. For me, the light bulb moment is at 05:08 - getting your surroundings right. My mom is returning to piano after many years, and I tell her to remember "the keyboard is your friend." I emphasize that it's all about connection - you can just sit down at the keyboard and rest your fingers and feel the instrument, feel the connection from fingers to wrist to arms to shoulders, and relax into the position. And even if you're playing just one or two notes, feel the notes, say the notes, think about the notes as a flow of movement, all connected. No note stands alone!
It's really important to start from a point of relaxation and focus, both mentally and physically. If you're laser focused on your goals for the practice session (or performance), and improving your tempo, trying to play fast, whatever, you're stuck in one direction - outward, but playing is a two way street - you need to be ready to feel and respond to what's happening in your hands arms and in the instrument, and that preparation is going to open that inward direction immediately, so you're giving and receiving, whether it be between you and the instrument or you and the instrument and others.
A wonderful intro jam duet. Loved it. More please. Somehow my eyes were super-confused with "the positional new perspective". But I think "guru temporary perspective switch" was cool.🌹🌹⭐🌹🌹
So good. I'm in stitches guys. GALA freaky friday
I enjoy your banter. Freaky Friday!
Freaky Friday lol
I think you two should do a Star Trek podcast! :D Peter - Picard, Adam - Riker "Exploring unchartered territories.."
Invasion of the Friday Snatchers! Freaky Friday freaked me out! (And I liked it)
You guys are entertaining and informative.
Great stuff! Freaky Friday.
Please share more thoughts on the Nord. Which model, action, etc...
This podcast makes me want to leave my desk and play the piano!
Like peter i have to pause very often to rotate my office chair to my piano to try the things I learn from here 😂
same here. lol
This whole thing was awesome but the “Peter” listening to 2 notes then commenting make me spit coffee on the train
Wonderful stuff as usual. Not that it's some huge deal, but perhaps you guys could try a clip mic or some similar way of avoiding voice volume fluctuations.
I did notice Peter's voice, as Adam, dropping out as he turned his face to the camera. It might be fixable in editing, but perhaps implememting a different mic placement would be a simpler and better solution.
This was as silly as it was helpful lmao thanks as always guys
Peter didn't know they weren't doing mocking, lol.
More intro jams please!! :D
What keyboard does Peter use? I know Adam is on a Nord Stage, right?
Love the intro jam ❤🎶
My surroundings eh? Hmm yeah ok - time to clean!
Freaky Friday. Monday never seems the same.
Loving the #plantbased advice flowing towards me in this episode!

The video pausing... 😂 Funny thing is I still always pick something new up with each 3 second pause.
Too good. 😂

"Peter Tips" should be a new segment for the podcast. 😅
Freaky Friday😁
Too funny😅. Meditation before every YHI would be so perfect! Go within and re- connect to pure awareness, infinite silence.
you guys are such different size that this totally effed up teh composition. first i thought i was cross eyed...then i felt nauseous...then i loved the dissonance.
