Also, I love T-pain but he was kind of a vibe killer in this. I mean I get he might be biased towards O, one of his avid viewers, but it got to the point where he was barely giving Ari any flowers, even at the end. I'm glad O showed Ari some love though, you could tell there's a lot of mutual respect there 🤜🤛

Since I'm late to the game and didn't catch the stream I may have missed some clarifying context, but from everything else I watched of T-Pain over the years, T was vibing with Ari, but alcohol, nerves and miscommunication made their vibes 1.) Slightly different frequecies (think 440 vs 432hz), or 2.) the same frequencies, but out of phase.
For instance, I believe T is the creative type will sometimes say they "hate" something whenever someone does the thing good or even as a term of endearment. This is indicated by his inflection of the statement and is a common way of using that phrase when meaning it positively. T has used it that way before, and it is/was also common in TV and movies and with people that use sarcasm.
Ari didn't seem to pick up on the "not not good" double negative after T said "i didnt want it to be good" (which means it *was* good) and even went T tried to clarify, he didnt say enough words to help clarify.
I can see how people would think T was shitting on him the whole time, but I've spent a lot of time learning the art of talking to not sober dudes. I'm not only the president, I'm also a client.
I can also see how I could be wrong.

Yeah I read the comments before I watched this and expected much worse. You can tell he respects the talent, he's just doing the "fuck you for being so good" bit and the alcohol enhanced it a little. He was about it

Idk why yall saying T was hating. Hes giving just weird open ended compliments. Saying things like he wish it was good. Meaning he likes it, but wish he didnt (probably because it was slightly corny) but he made the corny good.
