Thank you very much sir, I hope many people will learn and to have a very good knowledge because of your blog... Many thanks sir... Keepsafe... GODBLESS
You are most welcome if you are using computer power supply, most of time, maximum output can be taken from computer power supply that is 400-700 watts. while 12 volt section can provide maximum 200 watts in an excellent power supply. that will not enough to run your amplifier. moreover, you need to remove protections and then it is doable wishing you best of luck and success
thanks man, was just to make a miracle by just altering values of feed back resisters to the tl431. now i see i need to do something to the pwm ic's configuration.
You have given very good information, thank you very much Along with this you said that soon you will tell how to control the current of this power supply, so please make a video in this regard as well because I am waiting for your video very much. The company's variable power supply is very expensive, so if you tell us how to control the current, it will be easy for everyone and save a lot of money. Jazak Allah
Very nice video !! finally what i wanted to see : a no drop voltage under load from an ATX. I have M Haseeb 2 questions before i start this project : 1- What happens if by mistake i short the output ? are there any other protections ? or should i put a fuse ? 2- Is the same principle applies to other designs (mostly the ones using UC3842/3843) ? Thank you & Salam Aleikum.
Thank you sir for being such a good source of inspiration to us. We so much value your depth of knowledge and experience in this field. I did modified my ATX unit and the output varied properly I'm yet to add a suitable load though. But I also want to point to a problem I encountered and what I did as a solution. Problem:>>>> After using this trick I noticed that power resistors at the output became very hot. Solution:>>>> I removed them know they were working as a dummy load and for current measurement purposely. I'll replace it later though with a suitable one. But i'm posting this because I know some people will encounter such. And I also want to ask if you as well encountered this same problem? ....... Hope to get your response or anyone's response.
best regards we cannot increase amperes, because the transformer is limited at a rated current, if we will try to draw more current by hacking the protection, it will cause to overheat the transformer, MOSFETs and it will lead to destroy it rapidly

Hi, thank you very much for the helpful information. I need a regulation between 2V and 11-12V. I suppose that 12 volts output cannot go so low, but is it possible to use the 5 volts output for such a range? If not, what is the max range that it can provide? Thanks!
