I’m ALWAYS about mental rest days! I took one yesterday and truly enjoyed it. Like you, mental rest is achieved by riding my Gold Wing. I put in for Juneteenth at the first of the year every year. Great topic, my friend. Ride Safely!
Everyday I take a few mental hours, which sometimes turns into a mental day, doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, not a thing, no phones, computers, no outside, no TV, no cooking or shooting videos just sitting in around relaxing. But when I'm/we are out riding the WINGS then it becomes "SUPER MENTAL DAYS" the ooooooing & aaaaaaawing from the beautiful views brings it all together. I'm Kake, from Boots and Jean's Riders! Good ride my friend. We are at 97 F in Louisiana and I am Busy fixing AC units. Hopefully one day it’ll slow down and I can ride again and shoot some videos. I love my friend
I agree with you. Everyone needs a mental rest day. I really need a mental rest week!! This past Friday I just got out and did a little under 200 miles with no specific destination. Just riding. Ride safe.
Anytime on the motorcycle is mental rest time. I never called it that, I call it my helmet time. Paying attention to riding, makes all the other stuff go away for awhile. Love it! Stay well, Patrick

Your wife is smart, we all need a mental rest day. For me as an introvert, I do the reflection thing everyday, just thinking about situations and problems wondering if I could have done anything better for a more positive outcome. Not sure if I have ever considered a "mental rest day" but I'm thinking about it now. Thank you Chris for bringing this up, it is a very good idea to help cope with all the problems we're facing right now.
