I’d love to see a blind taste test of the most popular chicken items (tenders, sandwiches, etc.,) from some of the most popular fast food chains (could still include both of these places). That way there is no bias at play and the food is relying solely on its quality & flavor. They’re also just fun to watch. 🙂
I think a better comparison of Raising Canes would have been Zaxby’s, because their menus are more similar. Like how Chick-Fil-A and Popeyes are more similar.
What the heck was that??? That wasn't one brand against another. That was one brand against your memory of the other. I was expecting you to have similar items from both brands so you could do a side-by-side taste test comparison. Taste one, then taste the other, then decide which wins for that particular item. I'm afraid you're going to have to do it all again. Sorry.
Sadly I completely agree because you're remembering Chick-fil-A from high school years ago and saying how much you disliked it. A side by side comparison is what I was actually expecting.😕 No matter what I still tune into you guys every week got me through some hard times for sure.. 😁😁
@@Sarah-Harvey your both being ridiculous. Obviously it’s a fun video, but it wasn’t the expected content. Memory always has bias, positive or negative. The op isn’t wrathful either. Just a quick fact about the fries. it is not based off of the appearance of being full or not, it has a certain weight for small, medium and large. They don't go over that weight. I used to work at a Chick-fil-A
Austin, Chick-fil-A gives you the option for whatever sauce flavor you want for your sandwich. You get the freedom to choose your flavor and how much or little you want. When I get a sandwich at Chick-fil-A, I personally always get the spicy chicken sandwich with extra pickles and put Chick-fil-A sauce on it. And the Chick-fil-A sauce is a combo of honey mustard and BBQ.
The problem with a lot of chicken places is that they have very few options for someone with allergies. I'd love to try Raising Cane's but there is literally nothing on the menu that I can eat. Chick-fil-a has options for someone with allergies which I like. I always look for a Chick-fil-a when I fly because I know I can get a safe meal. That being said, my favourite "weird" combo is fries dipped in ice cream. Wendy's Frosty with the Seas Salt fries or DQ's ice cream in a cup with fries. It may be a Canadian thing, but it is sooooo good!
I agree with this! I recently went gluten free, but I had Raising Cane’s before becoming GF and it was delicious! But now that I am GF, I know I can’t go there anymore unfortunately. Chick-fil-A is always a go to though.
I'm from Tennessee and I have always liked dipping fries in milkshakes or ice cream. When I was young, people would look at me like I was crazy ( late 70s) now people do it all the time 😂.
Chick-Fil-A and Raising Canes just opened about 3 weeks ago here on Maui during the SAME WEEK. We had both of them and believe that Raising Canes is WAY BETTER!!! More bang for your bucks!!! Plus the chicken is moist and so flavorful... And YES, we agree that the coleslaw is awesome too...
Imma just say, Raising Caines just opened in my area and even though people are lining up to try it, everyone is lining up only for the first time... compared to an older Chick-fil-A, that has had consistent traffic through the years, and now has an official complaint against it for public nuisance (drive thru was always blocking traffic 😅)
I still prefer Raising Canes - I eat Chick-Fil-A, but Canes is my go to. It's about the chicken flavor and texture. Canes is better imo. Thanks guys! 😁
One of my favorite things when I go to Chick-fil-A is a large waffle fries and 12 count breaded nuggets, Chick-fil-A sauce(3-4)zesty buffalo(2-3), and ranch(2-3). Throw it all together in a bowl and mix it and enjoy it with a fork.
I agree with Vince Steele. You guys need to do a side by side comparison instead of just going by memory to see the real difference and similarities between their menu's.
This was not a valid comparison. Raising Canes has essentially one menu item. Chick Fil A has a great variety. Also, for what it’s worth, I used to work at Chick Fil A. I ate it every day and never got tired of it, partially because of the variety, but also because it’s delicious. Every time I’ve gone to Raising Cane’s I’ve been disappointed at the lack of options. My husband always craves Raising Canes and then ends up feeling sick afterwards.
I will say I have never had Raising Cane's but as long as it is not spicy I'll take it over C-F-A. As far as my fav hack go to Culvers and order a Mushroom & Swiss Butterburger, ask for added Bacon and have a side of Wisconsin Cheese Curds and Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Sauce. When you get the order open the burger, pour on some of the cheese sauce then flatten 5 or 6 of the cheese curds and put them on the burger, put the top bun back on and enjoy.😋
Love Raising Cains! I love Jack in the Box eggrolls with their Buttermilk ranch sauce. That was my pregnancy craving 24 years ago. Not really a hack but yum!
With food, subjectivity plays a massive part in where you would prefer. Certain flavours, textures and nostalgia can influence what food you prefer. It should always be this is your favourite, not the best.
They have "deluxe" versions of their sandwiches which comes with lettuce and tomato. Anytime I go I always go with the spicy deluxe. Lots of chick fil a sauce
The Famous Bowl, Mashed Potatoes, corn, popcorn chicken, gravy, topped with shredded cheese, we have it here in Canada. Not sure if you can sub in chicken strips. I wish they had a Larger size of it than the one they give, like maybe like the $10 Popcorn Chicken bucket size.
You should do an episode with different soda concoctions off of the coca cola machines now. like a rootbeer with vanilla or an orange soda with cherry. so many different variations that people like to do.
Any fast food joint, I have to put the French fries in the sandwich on top of the burger patty. Depending on the restaurant, it gives the burger a nice crispy crunch to go with the soft bread and burger.
Still a very good video but could definitely sense the bias lol and seemed based on one experience from raising canes that blew you away…would have been cool as a blind taste test
We have Chicken-N-Spice in Illinois absolutely beats them both chicken nuggets are HUGE ! We actually order more than we are going to eat because they reheat perfectly! And the desserts 😊☺️💥 Fried diet wrecking goodness!!
I’m from Louisiana where Raising Canes started. Their chicken is quality but bland. I expected more flavor with them being a Louisiana-based brand. At Canes, I rely very heavily on the sauce for flavor vs Chick-Fil-A, I could eat a fried nuggie without sauce if I had to. Both signature sauces are A+ though.
i love CHICK-FIL-A i grew up on it... when i lived in G.a and still eat it to this day... i live in Az CHICK-FIL-A makes there mac and cheese fresh every day never frozen...
At Chick-fil-A, get the original chicken sandwich with no pickles, the Mac and cheese and Polynesian sauce. Take sandwich out of bag, take chicken off of bun and back in bag. Put 2 Polynesian sauces in bag, fold bag closed and shake. Then take chicken and put it back on bun. Add Mac and cheese on top of chicken and put on top bun. It is SO good! My husband saw it on Tik Tok and it became my go to before I went gluten free.
I have tried to like Canes but there are not side options except fries and coleslaw pretty much, their chicken just doesn't seem to have a lot of flavor to me.
My kids and I LOVE Chick-fil-A. We are Gluten free so we get the grilled chicken nuggets. My daughter pours a Polynesian and Ranch in her container and then shakes it up. So good! Also I personally love the heel of the potato. It’s juicier. But alas I have developed a peanut allergy. Always love you videos!
I am so happy that they have gluten free options. I'm a Celiac, and it's amazing. I guess some people rave more than others because at a lot of places we can't have the fries because they are fried in the same fryer. It's a blessing! Thank you Chick-Fil-A for having a separate fryer for GF fries. I usually get their grilled chicken sandwich with their GF bun, then add a bunch of polynesian sauce with it. It is my favorite! 😍
I’ve only been to Raising Canes a few times, but every time the food hasn’t been great. Bread was soggy, tenders weren’t crispy, seasoning wasn’t for me, overall really disappointed. I love Chick-Fil-A with their honey mustard sauce. Also I think if you did this side by side would of been much better vs memory of Raising Canes because if you like it you’re always going to remember it being great where if they are being tried at same time you can actually accurately compare.
so true I did not like Raising Canes when I got it .I don't see what the hype is all about .they need to do a blind test with both to really see what better
Im going to need you guys to take a southern road trip between not knowing what the grits were and the reaction to mac n cheese lol we need to get you some southern experiences 😂
So here is the thing…Raising Canes was created in Baton Rouge (in Tiger Town at LSU), which is about an hour away from New Orleans. You would be hard pressed to find garbage food in this area. Chick-fil-a was created in Atlanta, which isn’t known for food the same way. I am from New Orleans but recently moved to Florida. Every time I go back to visit family I go to Raising Cane’s because the nearest one to me is two states away. Chick-fil-a is good, Cane’s is so much better.
I'm from Central Louisiana, and I do not like Raising Cane's at all. Granted, I've only been once and maybe the cook was having an off day, but our strips just didn't seem cooked... and I don't like any condiments, so the sauce isn't my thing at all. But I didn't know Raising Canes started in Tiger Town. That's pretty cool - flash back to high school when I went to LSU for a 4-H competition and got to experience Tiger Town.
I agree with Austin on the craving Raisin' Canes. I had it years ago when they first opened in my hometown. I wasn't really impressed back then and haven't eaten there since that first time. Chick-fil-a became our go-to because it was just so good. I had Raisin' Canes this past Wednesday and now I can't wait to eat there again! Chick-fil-a is honestly over-hyped and over-rated. Raisin' Canes chicken was so tender and juicy. Chick-fil-A chicken is slightly drier than RC chicken and CFA chicken is very flavorful and season whereas RC chicken doesn't need all that seasoning because it is just so juicy and tender. Their signature sauce at RC is bomb. I can't stand Chick-fil-A signature sauce. Anyway, I think RC is underrated. It'll be RC for me any day over CFA
I like the chick fil a but Zaxbys is where its at. There meals would be more like Raising Canes Tenders fries slaw and texas tst. Meals are delicious. ❤
I love CFA I like that their tenders aren’t thick. Unfortunately we do not have a RC where I live. I have seen several ratings saying RC is the top of the heap. Hopefully we will eventually get a franchise.
Did u know they are building a raising Chinese across from the Layton chic-fil-a...so u won't have to go to Riverdale! Also try a Arby's roast beef sandwich and mozzarella sticks with their bronco berry sauce...delish! Also a crisp bean burrito with sweet and sour sauce. Thanks guys loved the show
Idk if DQ counts but this is my FAVORITE you order a blue raspberry slushy with twist ice cream FLOATED in it or as a float (do not blend it) ITS FABULOUS!!!!!
I have to agree i remember it being chic-fa-lay too. Fast food concoctions double meat, double cheese, chili, bacon, onions, jalapenos with mayo burger from either sonic or dairy queen side of onion rings.
Raising Canes is good but to me the batter for the fried chicken is more bland than chick fil a. But I agree with the texture of the chicken being more succulent for raising canes. Our raising canes tenders are 2.00 a piece here in texas and ours were pretty small :(.
Crazy food mixture: go to auntie anns and get a sprite that has a mixture of the flavoring syrups. My personal favorite is the blue raspberry and strawberry.
I can't believe you didn't, at the very least, get Chick-fil-A mayonnaise for the sandwich! One packet for each side. Then dip the waffle fries in it too. OOOOHH YEEEAAAHHHH!
I have always thought Chic too. I think I saw a video once of someone with a uniform from years ago that said Chic but I can’t find it now. Alternate universe indeed.
McDonald’s french fries and dip or scoop them in a m&m mcflurry! It’s your sweet and salty all in one!!! Love MTV you guys are so entertaining and always make me laugh.
I wish chicken tenders was a thing here in Norway. My boys love them so I make them homemade. But going to a restaurant you would not find them on a menu. I have never had Chick-fil-a or Raising Cane's, but it sure looks good! Love and hugs from Norway!
I've tried Chick-fil-A; didn't really like it. Never even heard of Raisin Canes. I started making my own chicken nuggets when I was 12 ( 1970's) now my grandkids are enjoying them. ❤ Home made is best; so embrace it!!
I mix Polynesian sauce with mayonnaise, and dip my chicken sandwich, nuggets, and fries in it. If I'm at KFC I mix hot sauce and honey and dip my chicken in it. Get a chicken quesadilla from Taco John's but only chicken and extra cheese and ask them to put a hand full of oles on it and grill it twice. Sooo good
Canes is still superior. Better sauce, moister chicken consistently and happy customer care. I've been ti Chick-fil-A, they forget my sauce every time and your chicken may or may not be dusty
You guys have to try the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe with cheese dipping sauce for the sandwich! I never liked chick fil a until I tried that and it's my favorite order now. I normally get it with a root beer too. Love your channels! Thank you for making us laugh ❤️
By cheese you mean their chick fil a sauce, right? If that's what you mean, then that's the exact thing I exclusively get from them. Except I just dump their whole sauce on the sandwich lol
When you do a ______ VS _______ taste test them at the same time . So you are getting a full experience .. so start with a CN Sandwich from raising canes then CN sandwich from Chic-a-fila.. then go back to RC and do tenders the CAF tenders ect ect
Ok this isn’t too crazy but when I was pregnant I ate this from subway and ever since I still get it every time…. Footling turkey sub on Italian or cheese bread (double meats including pepperoni), American cheese (extra cheese) Pepperoni…Lightly toast… little bit of pickle, little bit of banana pepper, lettuce, tomato and mustard (I would add cucumber slices depending on my mood
Where I live we don't have a Rasing Cane's chicken (the closest one to me is 3 hours one way away). But for me Chick-fil-a is really good but I prefer the Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips I get from my local Sam's club and I cook em in my air fryer.
Not me watching this on a Sunday craving the lord’s chicken on the lords day 😂 also I really like cutting up dark meat classic chicken from KFC and mixing it in their potatoes and gravy is that weird?
I love watching Cameron talk with food in his mouth. I take off most of the crust on canes chicken. I don't eat the cole slaw and get another piece of toast instead. I like the skin on chick fil a fries. I prefer canes sauce. I like when he said he never had grilled chicken before but his wife said yes twice. Lol. Yummy part watching the sandwich be cut after he licks his fingers and wipes his nose with his finger. Adds extra flavor. True friends. Lol

Please don't ever stop Men Try ‼️ I wanna be watching y'all 20-30 years from now 🤘🏼🤣❤️
Yes!
Me 3
Yess 🤣
I second that!
Next step is a blind taste test! Those are my fave!
Yes! Blind taste test, Chick-fil-A, KFC and raising cane's(?) (I'm British, never heard of that one sorry😂)
Leanne M.R.Williamson Me too and I agree blind taste test even if its just a few items ffom each.
I think a better comparison of Raising Canes would have been Zaxby’s, because their menus are more similar. Like how Chick-Fil-A and Popeyes are more similar.
Zaxby's is SO good! I'm not sure if they have one where they live though
How is chick fil a and Popeyes similar?
There’s really no comparison to chick fil a
Chick-fil-a and Popeyes are no where near similar...
Zaxby's is amazing. But i do love Raising Cane's sauce. Chick-fil-a has a pickle taste to their nuggets to me. Not a fan of Chick-fil-a
I'm from Arizona so zaxby's isn't really a thing, but it sounds good.
How dare you upload this on a Sunday?!? 😂 now I want Chick-fil-A and I can’t have it 🤣

I think they have raising caines all the time
There was a little more wrath in the comment than I would have included but I agree with the principle and ideas behind it lol

You guys should do a contest between all the big chicken joints. Raising Cain's, Chick-fli-A, Popeyes and KFC, see which is the best!
Why wouldn’t y’all do a side by side comparison taste test..
Just a quick fact about the fries. it is not based off of the appearance of being full or not, it has a certain weight for small, medium and large. They don't go over that weight. I used to work at a Chick-fil-A
Why does chick fil a only half cook their waffle fries?
@@mrbear1302 they weigh more that way.

@@AtsukoRoberts they are fried in the same oil as the chicken, which causes a problem for me.

“Flavorful”. With what seasoning? With all due respect that sounds slow 😅 it literally has NO flavor what so ever
I'm glad I'm not the only one who swore for years it was Chic-fil-A , I'm still not convinced we're wrong. Alternate reality indeed.
I absolutely remember it being chic-fil-a! What happened to our reality!?
I always remember it as Chic-Fil-a too. We def got Mandela'd.
It's one of those Mandela Effects!
I also thought it was Chic. According to Google we all just remember it wrong. It’s always been Chick since 1969. ??????
I did, too, and then autocorrect a few years back was like “uuuuhm no”
Yessssss raising Cane's all the way, love you guys
.... so I live 2 blocks from 'Raising Canes' and have yet to try!

Oh man, maybe you can give them a social media comment on the Facebook posts about getting a location in your area!
Fast food concoctions double meat, double cheese, chili, bacon, onions, jalapenos with mayo burger from either sonic or dairy queen side of onion rings.
lolll Cam spilling mac n cheese everywhere oh my goodness
Starbucks: Vanilla bean Frappuccino with pumpkin spice with nutmeg on top. It’s the White Pumpkin!
I enjoy the regular nuggets with lemon juice and extra salt. I get lemon wedges to squeeze onto the nuggets.
I like dipping my fries in creamy salsa dressing! So good!
I can’t say which is best because we don’t have either store in my country,Australia. I enjoyed the video.❤❤❤❤
Raising Canes is good but to me the batter for the fried chicken is more bland than chick fil a. But I agree with the texture of the chicken being more succulent for raising canes. Our raising canes tenders are 2.00 a piece here in texas and ours were pretty small :(.
Best thing at Chick-fil-A is the frozen lemonade. Cam is correct, it's over-hyped. I prefer KFC chicken sandwich.
I usually combined the chicken sandwich with fries and the mac n cheese and add a little bit of bbq sauce to the mix
Hack
Shepherd's pie, or Cottage pie when made with ground beef,. The hack is mashed Cauliflower for topping instead of Potato.
Chick-fil-a had coleslaw until 2016. It was very controversial when they decided to remove it from the menu. I am a die hard Chick-fil -a customer!!
Where I live we got our 1st Raising Canes this summer and our 3rd Chick fil a this summer.
I have always thought Chic too. I think I saw a video once of someone with a uniform from years ago that said Chic but I can’t find it now. Alternate universe indeed.
For a concoction..cup with 1/2 way with Wendy’s frosty and the rest of the way with Dr Pepper. Tastes like a chocolate covered cherry!
I haven't either, Leeah Borge. I do live in Utah, but I am in Logan and not the Layton/Ogden area.
Sooo good
I remember it being Chik-fil-A. But I don't eat there since they use Peanut oil in most restaurants. But I have had Mac & Cheesecake
Omg, I’m towards the end of this video and I JUST ordered Raising Cane’s. I couldn’t help myself. 😂😂😂🤤🤤🤤
if you want a better chicken sandwich at raisin canes you can get the buns as texas toast
My favorite concoction is burger king onion rings dipped in a vanilla shake.😉
Canes is still superior. Better sauce, moister chicken consistently and happy customer care. I've been ti Chick-fil-A, they forget my sauce every time and your chicken may or may not be dusty
The honey roasted bbq sauce is amazing
Did you know the Bernstein bears or the bernstain bears? I swear we jumped into alternate reality somewhere. I thought chic-fil-a too. 😅
I used to get mine with pepperjack cheese.
When you do a ______ VS _______ taste test them at the same time . So you are getting a full experience .. so start with a CN Sandwich from raising canes then CN sandwich from Chic-a-fila.. then go back to RC and do tenders the CAF tenders ect ect
I agree with Cam. But Raising Canes is across the street from Chick-fil-A where I live so I end up going to whichever place has the shortest line 😄
Where I live in Houston Raising Canes and Chick Fil A are right next to each other sharing the same lot basically, then McDonald's a lot over.
Grilled nugs are the bomb it's the only thing i love from them but I prefer raising canes
Where I live we don't have a Rasing Cane's chicken (the closest one to me is 3 hours one way away). But for me Chick-fil-a is really good but I prefer the Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips I get from my local Sam's club and I cook em in my air fryer.
Austin and Cam could you do a video on raising canes I never heard of them before love watching you guys are hilarious
They already did
Yeah I saw it after that 😆 thanks
Lol
I love Chic-fil-A I have never had the other. You made me hungry
You guys should make a copy-cat recipe of Chick-Fil-A's Frozen Lemonade and a drink called a Brazilian Lemonade and see which you like better.
