How did the Soviet Union come into being in this timeline? How did the German Empire fall and the Nazis rise? How did the Ottomans fall? Did Communist Austria stay in the central powers and still attack Serbia, leading to the same WW1 we saw historically? If so, how did it avoid getting dismantled by the Entente like Germany and the Ottomans?

They said ww1 played out roughly the same, so I think that it couldve been a third balkan war, where Germany supported Bulgaria, leading to basically the same outcome of everyone joining and fighting

I think in this timeline, this Austria Hungary remained neutral and WW1 happened due to another reason later with the seme result

This WW1 definitely started with French nationalists in that certain border region attempting to assassinate the Kaiser, I'd reckon.

So much of this scenario makes no sense. Had AH gone communist in 1914, WWI would not have happened. The other European powers would have never permitted the situation to stand. Germany probably would've gained a lot of territory from AH during 1914-15.

I tried once. It's not the worst, but there's just so many better nations to play as, and depending on the path Austria picks, you might end up having to solo the ENTIRE Austrian Empire.
