This guy is humble. I need to meet him so he can hold the hand of my son who is also a shy stammerer but good in football. My son needs someone to hold his hand
Kindly take your kid to speech therapist, speech doctor for assessment and let him get special needs card for considerations as per constitution. I am a stammerer too and was shy not talking but quiet through primary to secondary school. I started teaching in school so it reduced. Just watch the story of Steve Harvey who was once a stutterer but now hosts shows. Mostly it's ignorance and lack of information that our parents didn't talk us to speech therapist. Just mentor him though other kids are the worst discouragement.
Reach out to me. I stammer ( caused by an accident i suffered to my head around 1996 ) but today I'm a structural Engineer full of confidence in myself.

I'm in tears man😢😢.... May God bless you Dennis.. You're such a humble and a guy who gave everything for this nation... U deserve a monument at kasarani stadium... I wish you all the best brother.. I wish I had a chance to see you and personally appreciate you 🙏🙏🙏
Some of Us Kenyans appreciate you, starting from my Old Dad,, you are his idol🥺,, I knew you through him. Just wanna say,, we are proud of you even if no one else is❤💯.
This guy I first saw him at city stadium and I said this guy is good. Then the game I can't forget in my life is the one at kasarani against cape Verde,he made me cry tears of joy. That goal that took us t afcon, man be blessed
I vividly remember this day. This was our first time and the last time to date going to AFCON. Denish Oliech was and still is a Kenyan football hero that deserves to be recognized for his contributions towards football in Kenya.
This are the people whose stories should be in the kenyan history books kids would have a living example to learn from. It is sad that real talents never get recognized much
I once had the opportunity to ride in one of his big machines he had lent out during a wedding at Ziwa over a decade ago. I still cherish that moment to date. Big up legend.
If there are interviews so inspiring this must be the one. It just brought tears to my eyes. Yes you need to write a book. JOURNEY OF DENNIS THE MENACE
This interview brings back the memories of that game. Oliech is a great patriotic Kenyan. This are the people who deserve to be chairing board meetings in government parastals especially in culture and sport.
@@Kittygacha_playz I also thought so. He was wallowing in plenty during his hay days yet he forgot about the future. Sports are only seasonal and can be played as youth. Maisha ni kujipanga and no one owes anyone anything. Even those of us who don't play soccer are equally Kenyan and we all contribute to national development.
Dennis Oliech is a Legend... Fellow Kenyans let's learn to love and support our own. A lot of talents go unrecognised and unappreciated. God bless everyone supporting talents. 🙏🏼
I enjoyed watching this interview. We grew up hearing of Oliech obviously I wasn't watching Ball then. It's good to know the story behind this legend. I celebrate you Oliech.
You made me shed a tear brother Dennis. I am glad and proud that I was alive to witness your talent, and specifically that goal against Cape Verde. Thanks for your inspirational story. One Love ❤️
I'm proud of Mr. Dennis Oliech. you deserve all the respect. I'm not a fan of football but I genuinely respect you and your career, I believe it has not been easy. Be blessed sir. Thank you Mr. Churchill for all the stories you bring to us, be blessed too.
Thanks Churchill for having Dennis in the show, he's a great Kenyan and he will always remain a legend. Best wishes Dennis and Bob as you walk through the journey setting up the peace foundation. May the good God see you through🙏
Denno and Pope are the real definition of true friendship and brotherhood, Denno deserves a lot more than what he is getting...Humble and really laid back God Akubless zaidi, Churchill thanks for opening our eyes and letting us know people differently from what is portrayed to us Amazing staff
God who watches over us should uplift Dennis. He's not just a hero I reckon but a true patriot to admire. The history he wrote through football should be clearly written and read by the CBC supporters who talk of pathways. His life should be the light for children aspiring to play great football. He made one of my village mates to change his name to Dennis Oliech. What an idol and a role model. Government should be true to their word by giving jobs to such deserving citizens.

This has made my day, very happy to see you guys Des and Pope Kululu 👍 Many memories of primo. Pope best wishes shikilia hadi PhD umalize. Great initiative on Football and Peace, pamoja guys 🙏
Big memories of Denis Oliech in Uganda 🇺🇬 among my footy fraternity. I remember when he bust on the scene during the then Dstv Castel Cup in 2001. We couldn't stop talking about him in school. Boy was very gifted as a slippery pacy forward. Uganda cranes won on penalties in the final but Denis stood out as a youngster. In the team with the likes of mulama brothers, Robert mambo, musa otieno, his strike partner John muiruri are some of the names I remember in that tournament. Its also the first time dtsv telecasted a match of either countries. Am glad I witnessed his start in Harambe stars Jersey. Indeed he was a menace that suits his nickname. Next I heard of him was him playing for Auxere in France and we were glad and happy for him as a son of the region
Thanks Churchill for this, I have always been an ardent admirer of Oliech and what the media did to him and his career was so bad. I met him once and he truly is a humble guy, he literally put Kenya on the map of football. God bless you Dennis Oliech
My take: DO would have set up a give back plan to community in Dago and other communities. Maybe we could have now had hundreds of DO's reps globally through DO football Academies. Preaching peace, love and unity is very ok during this moment in Kenya as stated during the interview. I wish DO and Bob can re-engineer their peace and love campaigns by having a tournament pack that has a visionary goal of setting up DO Football Academies that every corporate can want to be attached with. This will have a lot of sense on DO legacy in getting young football players nurtured and ready to make vibrant and visible impact in the Kenya Football arena and beyond. With this in mind no one can close door on such a strategic move. Thanks again @Churchill for getting DO and Bob they are incredible people that need all the support in making a visionary impact driven change. God bless Isaac MwAfrika
Used to visit a relative in N'gando and I used to go the same church with Oliech's mum. A very jovial mother, may she RIP. Oliech still got a future ahead.

You don't need Dennis to hold his hand, Dennis' hand wasn't held by anyone, guide him to the right direction and ask God for guidance atafaulu

Denish Oliech was and still is a Kenyan football hero that deserves to be recognized for his contributions towards football in Kenya.
Yes,a man who was some steps down jumped over the barrier to the ground and I think he broke his legs. This shows how important that goal was
The cape Verde game was so tense. He made is proud. The stadium exploded
I still remember that goal
Somebody tell Churchill that Oliech is the STAR, not him. He should let Oliech talk without the interruption.
Wacha za ovyo
Am impressed. He's such a humble guy.. Soft spoken. He shld be appointed at sm national football team leadership.
He should be harambee stars coach. Hata tukishindwa it's ok
