Hornet is a great bike for city ride. I think it's not about top speed. It's about pickup and performance of bike while riding in city and highway. That's why Hornet is best. Great power and torque.

Hornet is for good initial move and had a good 0-100 reaching speed at very less time compared to apache but at top end apache will be a upper hand and both bikes are amazing

Try this race after 3 years hornet give you same feel but appache wil be crap at that time, that's called reliability, Honda never give you lot of features at low price but it gives you better less maintenance bike. Yamaha Honda Suzuki are best bikes only gives you reliability, among them Honda engine is superb in terms of refinement and low maintenance.
Still now my HeroHonda CBZ Xtreme 2011 model goes top speed at 135km/hr, since it has been 10 years the bike condition is good.
Honda yamaha Suzuki they use best quality.
Bro 2014 model apache 160 2v still same feel and smooth.... Depends how you care for ur bike

In that case u shud have commented that apache 160 is a beast in its price point and not on the 160 segment

Apache's main competitors are bikes like ns160, gixxer and all. Just because they have similar displacement it doesn't make them comparable.

Hornet accelerated fast because of 16 Nm torque but Hornet has shorter gearing that's why max speed if limited to around 126-127 kmph
