I've been helping someone with buying a laptop and it seems entry gaming laptops offer more performance for your money compared to office laptops. These companies rely on the public's lack of knowledge to sell too. Is kinda awkward when you are paying for "good" office laptops that have worse specs than entry gaming laptops. My analysis after not following laptop tech for quite a few years, since I have a gaming laptop for some time and I am more into desktop builds is that it's quite a mess, with prices not at all reflecting quality. Some prices seem quite arbitrary and are attached to the brand name more than anything. They have a lot of SKUS too of the same model making it even more confusing. I also saw loads of Laptops that had specs straight from 2016 but they still asked 800 euros or more for them, some with very little storage. I used to think back in 2013 that by 2021 1tb of SSD would be the regular standard, yet, I see loads of Pc's with 256gb. Even my older laptop from 2014 had more than that. SSD are getting cheaper, in particular, M.2 nvme which help a lot in reduction of space have been declining so the only reason for this is to create more price points and make people pay a premium since storage is one of those things everyone understands the value. There was a time that you could see a difference year by year, but right now because laptop tech has matured, most regular users can't see much difference other than for intensive tasks like video/gaming/etc because all Pc's nowadays can do all regular tasks very efficiently so they don't need to push things that much with every new gen. Even TN panels are still pervasive when they are just horrible, we should be having IPS as standard and OLED for premium and still we rely on this tech just cause is cheap.

i regret buying mx450
Price of Mx450 is more than 1650
Depends on the laptop. But yeah usually it's used in slim and ultra books.
Sometimes I doubt weather this video is real or not because mx450 shows higher fps in other videos
What video? Same settings?
@@Hubwood Might be settings would have be different resulting in more Fps there
Is Mx 450 a better option than GTX 1650?
less power consumption
Less power, but slower. And only 2gb instead of 4gb.
@@benjiro8793 For me 1650 and 1650 Max Q are two different cards ;)
Btw. 1650 MaxQ = 35W.
MX450 = 25W (or 12W or 28W in some cases)
mx 450 work without charger?
No. Both laptops were plugged in
1650 smooth
Lol my MX330 can handle almost the same as MX450
No. No it can't.
@@Hubwood only about 10 fps different isn't too much significant for me
That depends on 20vs30 fps or 70vs80 fps.
But the mx450 is about 60% faster than the mx330.
So in most games it's probably more than 10 fps...
Lol your mx330 can handle almost the same as mx250
@@QRpeach hehe😁
loooooool rip mx450
Why rip?
Mx450 is a equalivent to gtx 1650.
It's just that mx450 has 2 gb of vram instead 4 like 165p
@@anumine207 no it isnt just because if u have vram doesnt mean it is as fast as other, gpu also has small cores just like processor and it is faster than the processor of mx450 , just stop being jelous...mx450 is just made for normal work but gtx series is made for entry level gaming
and also 2 gb vram and 4 gb vram has drastic perfomance difference and is also more costly
