Basically what I understood is that Natasha’s project which she talks about to Sara is her imagination with Avi and all the dates which she puts in her paintings, Sara on the other hand is living all those moments which Natasha has put in her project with Avi, that’s why you see Natasha going all shocked to see Avi’s pic and Sara feels shocked to see that she has literally lived all the moments exactly what is put in Natasha’s paintings. The end monologue of Sara also defines it well. I feel director has left it on open ending.
