Pretty awesome, man this was a rough beta though. I probably would have sunk a few quarters into the finished product if they completed it but not like this.

I read all the game mags in the '90s and I never heard of this game before, what a find! And what a sh!t show! I understand why it was canned. Baseball is my favorite sport but it doesn't translate well to an arcade experience like basketball or football...
This is so cool BUT WAY TOO FAST!!! The animations are awesome. Hawk being in the booth is a plus. Saw this as i was looking for his favorite moment of his broadcasting career. Didn't know he did this.
If this game was real I would be playing it now, also they did make a baseball arcade game called World Series Baseball 99 Go to the dream park, which was released by Sega in 1999, I saw this game before at Walmart back in the early 2000s because I played it before.
I can see why this was unreleased, Baseball just doesn't work as a sport in an arcade enviroment, short of them going full OTT NBA JAM. Also weird that they never considered doing Soccer, as that would have been perfect to NBA JAM-ify (unless you count Redcard years later)
"Lost NBA Jam" my ass. It's just some Incredible Technologies turd. It had nothing to do with NBA Jam. The problem with this was that SNK already dominated the market for these types of games. You weren't going to beat 2020 Super Baseball or Baseball Stars 2, which are closer to NBA Jam in spirit than this.

Legend has it arcade operators rejected it because it meant listening to fucking Hawk Harrelson all day.
Never knew this existed. So cool that there would of been a sequel like game to NBA JAM. What a shame it never was released.
Baseball Stars 2 is already the baseball equivalent of NBA Jam.

Not that we are aware of, as far as we know the only time anyone saw it was on location test in Chicago briefly

Yeah I was about to say redcard was their thing.
I've heard the main reason this wasn't released is because it was way too hard on the trackball and it would break almost daily.
