I was thinking about hiking the trail since it’s in my backyard. But I decided to just subscribe to a bunch of you guys and sit in bed and drink coffee.
You guys are great ! I am an RI native a former runner. And I can tell you and Stretch are on a pace to summit Katahdin by July 4th (if not earlier). My wife and I will miss seeing your AT videos when that happens. But just keep going strong.
Been watching each day but somehow was surprised to see you are now at +80 days. Wow. You and Stretch are making short work of the AT. I can’t wait to see your vids when u hit ur home state oh NH - esp the Whites. Good luck and keep it going!!
Absolutely adore watching your videos!!! Been my dream to attempt the AT. In nursing school and your videos are my fav to watch when I need to destress! You guys are killing it!!!
I am amazed that you can walk, talk, and video at the same time without hurting yourself too much. Sometimes it’s all I can do to get to the coffee maker without major injury :). Keep charging!
I find those white sweat marks on hat/ shirt/shorts as a life worth lived. It shows your effort, hard work and desire to complete a vigorous event, whether that's a thru-hike, marathon or any other tough journey. You and Stretch are a great team , challenging and supporting each other. I'm sure he has those same white sweat marks too.
your almost to the place i first learned of the AT as a wee lad many trips around the sun ago. Bear mtn we did it in the spring but got 10 inches of snow overnight but thats where it started for me, enjoy hiking my home state(now a few hours north of kahtadin) enjoy and thanks for sharing your journey with us
Cody: dying choking his blueberries. Nahamsha, unconcerned: “you ok?” Lol I don’t know why that clip made me laugh so much. You are making awesome time! Stay safe and enjoy the last section through NE!
Morning Taylor! I can't believe you are in CT. I know CT is a short state but it is such a good section of the trail, when it's trail. Looked like a great breakfast but even a buffalo chicken wrap can't touch gushers! The back of your shirt is why I went with light gray, those salt rings are gross lol Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. -Grateful
Yay. First full day in CT, my home State. I'm sorry I missed you but am glad you enjoyed it and got TM. I live 90 minutes away from trail and I usually don't give TM until mid June.

Good Morning. Another nice start to your day and mine. Taylor, what charging banks do you use? I have small Extreme banks for hiking here in the Smokies, but always am on the look out for better banks. Have a great day!! Loving the vlogs!!!
Good morning from southern Vermont! You too are crushing it💪🏼💥💪🏼💥 If you need any support in the Stratton area please let us know my wife and I can help you out. @@ethelip5239 Is that the real reason ? I was about to look it up because I wasn't sure. I live in New England and have photographed many covered bridges before. I'm sure I've read about them years ago and why covered but I've forgotten. If I had to guess I would say to keep the snow off them because bridges freeze before a road does.
Yes. They are covered to shelter them fron the weather. Lotsa covered bridges here in Indiana. The old wooden bridges last along time if covered. Keeps the wood from rotting.
@@frolege1 I bought some because she talked about how good they were. Took me a while to find out where they were (near fruit roll ups). Ate about one of each of the 5 different flavors (about 1/2 a small package) and couldn't get over how bad they were. No flavor, just sweet, with a weird texture. They definitely had a chemical taste to them. Probably the artificial sweetener. Now I have 5 more of the small packages (6 to a box) and unsure what to do with them. If I do trail magic this summer I'll give them away to hikers. I also read the ingredients but wasn't surprised really.

Why do bridges need to be covered?
Apparently, it was so that horses wouldn’t be spooked by stepping out over open water.
