This is the smart move. Training costs for A.I. are running into the billions and the financial rewards aren’t there yet. Apple licensing GPT4o or whatever allows their gadgets to remain up to date while saving money they can use to train their own A.I. once it becomes profitable.

It is not just stock splits. You also have to factor in Stock Buybacks. Reduce the denominator and artificially make it look like your stock is performing better on a per share basis than it really is.
Wrong, they literally explain how they are keep everything private in their announcement. They are using on device AI, then for bigger requests, cloud AI but it’s on Apple private services that are independently verified, and everything is end to end encrypted. Last option for big tasks is Open AI, but it’s anonymous, end to end encrypted, and the user has to approve it.

#1 … stocks splits are absolutely transparent on P/E ratio … whether the stock is $940 or $94 the Price Earnings is 30x either way. If you say people don’t know that well they didn’t know it before or after so no help for them! They shouldn’t invest without help which is pretty darn cheap today. On Tim Cook … Apple is not Integrating into ChatBot … the consumer is asked, and the consumer data does not get pulled along vs. traditional AI view where it does. Apple didn’t get caught off guard … they have always perfected the “fast follower” model with excellence. Wall Street completely disagrees with you Charles … up 6% today and up over 20% since they announced Apple Intelligence. Cheers!

It is not just stock splits. You also have to factor in Stock Buybacks. Reduce the denominator and artificially make it look like your stock is performing better on a per share basis than it really is.

Wrong, they literally explain how they are keep everything private in their announcement. They are using on device AI, then for bigger requests, cloud AI but it’s on Apple private services that are independently verified, and everything is end to end encrypted. Last option for big tasks is Open AI, but it’s anonymous, end to end encrypted, and the user has to approve it.
Re Tim Cook : This has been hypocritical for a long time and has nothing to do with OpenAI -- privacy and security is a basic human right _except_ in China. That has been a glaring problem.
