I have 5 year old house pig first introduced to a a cat adopted. Friend s . Then we added a dog same things but the pig holds status. He will allow some play/harassment but when he is done watch out!
No the interloper will not kill any piglets intentionally but one may get injured or killed by accident if it gets in the way of the fighting sows. Every pig has a personal space and if another one comes into it there will be a fight. Pigs are also very territorial and when any new ones come in they will defend the area. New ones can be a sister or daughter that has been separated from each other. New just means they have not been around each other in at least a couple of days.
Does she want the little pigs to nurse her....I've had a dog take another's pups because she could not have pups and wanted them to nurse her. The suckling pups brought milk to a barren dog.
She just gets bored I think and wants to visit the other moms. Wow, I did not know she could develop milk to come in when she had not been pregnant. That is awesome!
Can't we all just get along - just do it for the children - RP

Is there a danger of the interloper killing piglets, or something? What set the mother off?
