I turn 17 on Tuesday, its a real shame I ain't turning 37, would have loved to live through the era of this music, I've already popped a few Es whilst at sessions with this music and its absolutely amazing bring these times back
Harry Hannon Im 36 and I was more into jungle but the one happy hardcore rave I went to in 96, Fusion at wembly conference centre had the best atmosphere of all. One Nation was in one arena, which was drum and bass, everyone had attitude, look like that wanted to stab ya, then you go in the fusion arena and everyone is smiling and cheering and blowing the whistles, mental.
+Harry Hannon trust me. It was just like any other time. You can listen to it now and pretty much get the same from it if you want. If you need a rave and some E's just pop to Blackpool and get on it.
What an absolute classic, I was datin this one gurl and she gave me a mix with this tune on it. Omg Jennifer I will neva forget you *snifflez*. cutterschoicenotmine you said it well mate, couldnt have put it better. This is pure happycore.
Remember a happy Friday in my childhood in 1996/97 :) I turned on the radio and in the charts sometimes they played such great songs between #30 & #40 :)
im rolling face for the first time in a while, blasting this thru headphones at 6 am, im in the USA raving like a true happy hardcore fan. get up UKKKK
Best tune they ever did, shining down and heart of gold where good but they where too vocal. This was pure rush core and that is what early 1996 happy hardcore was. Hastings pier!!! Rocking mate! Though the acid bit in harmony still makes me moist!!!
I always like Douglas remix better because the female’s singing voice has a vocoder effect on it. You’ll hear it in the beginning of the song and then again later with the original vocal track and vocoder track playing together.
@ soudersan666 your totaly right, re releasing these tunes into the charts would only be a possetive thing, the silent masses would buy - as these and other songs posted up by the op always bring back happy memorys. i heart happy hardcore!
@davieboy198607 No way, Iv got so many awesome old sets that have been ruined by tossers like Magika and Stixman shoutin their bollox off over the top. I dont mind if its in the back ground, but Im sure some mc's thought everyone was there to listen to them rather than the music.
The scene really did take a cheesy twist in 96. I still liked 96 as it still had its soul that just hit you right in the heart, like this tune. beyond 96, I lost interest. I cant stand the 'bang bang' shit that is around these days. It doesnt seem to have soul, its just got that 'more bangin the better' attitude, which I dont agree with. I keep tellin mates that there will NOT be oldskool arenas in ten years time playin the shit that is around today, it will still have tunes from the 90's
41year old Scottish Highlander Raver right here...Hardcore will never die.
41 year old Scouse raver right here too pal 👍🏻😎
@@r10ngy81 Rave to the grave dude.

I got the message from the music teacher
@InnesIroncore PLUR!
\o/
@spideysam666 Agreed mate, all this rudeboy grime and dubstep alongside all the ket sniffing wankers has destroyed the happy vibes.
What happened to all 3 of them ?
All 3? Really? Darren Styles has been one of the biggest names in hardcore music for 20 years, he's still as relevant as ever
stomping crew let me hear ya.....whistle crewwwwwww louder I can't hear you :-D
Where’s the fucking whistle crew? 😂👍
