I have everything. Annuities, bond ladders, treasuries, CDs, an IUL, a Roth IRA, and 401Ks. Just everything. I believe that diversification is the best way to go. Let different products work for you within their own unique benefits that they offer to you.

Things have improved interest rate wise since this video was made. 5%+ is common today with MYGAs in August 2023.

Who pays the commission and is it coming out of the client's money? End of term can you get your money lump sum? I thought annuities mean structured income payments

My question is about taxes. When a MYGA matures and is cashed in, are only the gains taxed? And no taxes on the principal, which of course I have already payed income tax on before I invested it in the MYGA. ? Thanks Stan, your videos are informative and entertaining. 🤣

I don't give tax advice, but if you use post tax funds to purchase a MYGA, when you take the money out of a MYGA the interest is reported as taxable, at ordinary income levels. I'm glad you enjoy my videos.

Stan, is it possible to have a 403b, but not annuitized?

Yes - you can have a 403b in a deferred annuity. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

I am not saying this is the case. But this guy gives me the used car salesman, slick, hustler vibes.

I've watched a number of his videos. IMHO - he is trying to be entertaining - and keep people interested in watching what is basically, a boring subject. If you watch his pod casts - you'll see the serious side of Stan. The guy knows his stuff.
