Nick, l Watch all your videos but l don't recall seeing any of them before. Great singles, keep the Elvis you may grow to like it, as it's great. Hazel O'Conner, l saw her back in the day, she was fantastic. I don't have any of her stuff but should. Those Japanese sellers sound good. Horses is great, l've got it on CD, Party Mix is good too, l've that Double Barrel one, it's a classic. You've done well my son. On a side note l'm a Grandad now too! Yah!
Never knew what people saw in Elvis' music,it just never rang my bell....I suppose you like what you like . I used to hear "Way on down" played on the golden oldie radio station quite a bit and I just found myself singing along and tapping on my steering wheel. It was only cheap so I thought what the hell !!! Hazel Oconnor was supposed to be touring with Toyah about a year ago I think it was ??? but Hazel became really ill or suffered a bad injury ??? so it was all cancelled if memory serves me right??? Shame because I was all up for seeing them. It's great being a grandad.....congratulations matey 👍👍👍

Try other Patti Smith albums of that period they are all pretty good. The lovely eggs is one modern band I'm familiar with. I'm still getting used to driving at work this longer wheel based van, getting there early days first time something this size for me. Decent radio in it too so I can listen to all sorts which I like, helps when in traffic jams. Cheers mate.
Some very nice picks there Nick. Wow an Obi strip on the Leeds. As I said, I had one with (I think) most if not all of the bumf but I think I sold it as it had a scratch. And really never saw it again in the wild, only overpriced at a shop/fair. I would be interested in how that plays, let us know ok. Cant complain at a couple of quid for Blondie 👍

I love Japanese pressings and have no worries about orderering from Japan sellers. I have used MION before - theyre great, and ship from UK now, they have stock listed on Discogs as UK and TOKYO but you can only order from UK now - the stock is shipped from Japan I think and then from the UK office to the buyer - so you save on shipping as it's classed as UK to UK. The Japanese really look after their vinyl - their VG+ is equal to our UK sellers Ex+ or better. It's like they locked their LPs in a vault on release and never played them .. I've bought 50 year old LPs and they just smell of "warehouse". They pack really well and shipping is always super-fast... Always nice fresh anti-static nner sleeves and new outers. I had one parce come in just l in 4 days. I've had first class take 2 weeks with RMail. .. and often.
I still maintain that Armitage Shanks is probably my favourite band name, even though I’ve never listened to them. It’s my penchant for toilet humour, you see 🚽
