Your comment is very apt. I mention in the video that due to Tatara material, it would be fair to compare it to Mühle's GS version. But this does not prevent a comparison of design, head characteristics (geometry, blade gap, blade exposure) and the feel and efficiency when shaving between the two razors. The comparison was made by questions from members of shaving Facebook groups, about the specific version of the R41 in relation to the Tatara Nodachi. Unfortunately the R41 GS version did not find warm supporters... Several users found workarounds with less budget, like RazoRock Lupo OC or DC. Perhaps many thought that they could have the "same" razor for -100€... Thank you very much for your kind words and support!
Hello, I have made a brief description in the comments to Mr. edraghici (in English). If you need any other information, I am at your disposal. Thank you very much.
@@dontshavethepianist Thanks, I read and I found almost everything I want to know, just a few question: I shave everyday, which one for you is better? I like to go only against the grain.
@@lorenzodelgaudio Certainly Tatara's choice is better, even than the stainless steel version of R41. Tatara has better technology, no blade chattering, so even in combinations with a large blade gap and blade exposure (Nodachi series), it can be an everyday razor. R41 is not consistent in cutting, leaving some hairs uncut. For the money it's a very good choice. It also doesn't have the same shaving efficiency compared to the Tatara Nodachi oc and cc. Construction-wise (material quality, technology, safety, consistency, build quality) Tatara is an excellent choice. What you need to look at is the type of head that suits your shaving needs. If heads with a small or large blade gap work best for you and how much blade exposure you prefer. If you want detailed information about Tatara Razors, I have a detailed video on the channel.

Can you tell me in English which one is more aggressive? I cannot understand Greek. I suppose that the Tatara Masamune is more aggresive than Muehle R41, but I’m not 100% sure! Although both have the same number of teeth in the open comb, the gap between the blade and the plate is huge at the Tatara compared to Muehle R41. Thank you in advance for eventually answering!
Hello, Sorry for the late reply. The Tatara Nodachi has considerably more clearance and blade exposure than the R41. The number of teeth doesn't matter... The R41 is a mild razor in its characteristics, but has quite a bit of blade chattering. Its advantage is in the first pass, which can easily remove a large volume of hair. This is due to the opening of the base plate. Its disadvantage is that it is not very consistent in shaving. In this budget, it is a great choice. The Tatara Nodachi is an aggressive razor with a sharp blade feel, but with so much stability in the blade, it provides excellent protection. Shaves deeply and with absolute consistency. It's worth its money... Thank you.

It was one of the first videos of the channel and I had not put English subtitles. I plan to add subtitles soon. I'll text you when it's ready. Thank you very much for visiting the channel.
