Hope to see your mom and your sister to visit the Philippines someday if given a chance. If your mother cook more of traditional Pilipino dishes and happen to visit the Philippines she knows what eat and there will be no culture shock for her👍👍👍
You saute garlic and onion first then add the meat. Put a little water, when the meat is cooked then put all your vegetables. Do not over cook the vegetables. When the vegetables are half cooked remove from pan and set aside. Put water in the pan, season with soy sauce and herbs. When the water boils, put your canton and bihon. Refrain from continously stirring. When the noodles are soft put back your veggies and meat. Taste and adjust seasonings.
я очень голоден. я хочу съесть все это 🤤 ваша семья любит готовить филиппинские блюда, и это прекрасное зрелище. 👏 Кстати, вы также можете добавить эти ингредиенты к pansit canton, чтобы добавить больше вкуса и текстуры: shrimp slices of chorizo a little bit of sugar oyster sauce (my fave sauce ever) ochen' vkusno! очень вкусно!
That was so good of you, you introduced our Filipino food/culture with your family in russia. Thank you for what you have done. I’m Filipino from CA USA and enjoy watching your vlog. Hope you can come back to Philippines and continue your journey.🙏🙏🙏
Kuya to make it more lami, some will add shrimp....the head of the raw shrimp u will need to pound and put a little water then drain it to be mix with canton water....thats so yummy
Your mom is a good cook she really support you Andrie for your daily vlog. Kudos to your mom. Yummy pansit. Thank for adapting introducing our food to your family. Warmth our hearts and we appreciate too. Stay safe always. Take care to everyone in the family.
Hi, actually Pancit Canton itself is also a Chinese influenced dish brought also by the Chinese merchants in the pre-colonial period of the Philippines. The food is inspired by assorted Chinese noodle recipes(stir and boiled)as adopted to a Filipino taste menu which the term Canton itself is a city located in SouthEastern part of China. Amusing to see you eat an Asian influence dish in your hometown😊😊😊
Yeah many of Filipino popular dishes like lumpia and pancit are of Chinese origin it is just that Pinoy are fond of making a twist to make it tastier. Lechon is of Spanish origin but Pinoy spices number one is lemongrass is very much Pinoy like in the province only sea salt and lemongrass makes a lechon to die for. Dried fish is a staple food in the province especially when it is hard to go fishing. Other Pinoy make it more tastier not just frying it but adding sweet and sour sauce to eliminate the saltiness with lots of tomatoes and onions.
I was surprised to see your family cooking a filipino dish. Looks so delicious!! The filipino words that you speak amazes me. Nice to see you and your mom doing this together. Wonderful family you have. Thank you very much for sharing this. See you again!!
Very good first try Andrei and mom! ❤ For next time, add sliced celery. It adds a very nice flavor to the Canton. Also, squeeze a bit of lemon and mix the noodles right before eating. Another suggestion to try is fried eggplant with scrambled egg. It's another tasty but simple dish I think they would love! 😊
next time ,when you cook ang kind of pancit put 1 or 2 stalk of celery its more tastier,or mas masarap, cook with other vegetables, and last pancit no laurel leaves...😊
Awesome. Next time better not to stir too much of the noodle , and we as filipino ,i do not put laurel leaves. Simple ingredients is enough. Nice try. 😊
