I remember in 2018 seeing six perform at west end live. They’d only met each other the day before. The my didn’t even have costumes! I thought they did great considering
It was proms in hyde park and I remember because I was in Leicester on a uni visit and we listened to you live on the way back! It was so cool! Hopefully I get to see west end live next year as it looks a lot of fun. Grear video!
Just watched Back To The Future The Musical - Sport Relief Full Performance-wish they would release a full performance on youtube for Actors' charity as in Eugeneus. Loved this vlog-thank Oliver and Carrie~Dean
Loved this as usual I remember watching that video of Carrie going on the bikes so funny, I watched a voice coach on youtube where she was studying Carries voice & she was blown away by her performance she didn't like it at first because it was so different but loved it at the end & loved her Burn performance 2 xxx
Oli! Can you explain more about what West End Live actually is for us Americans? Do multiple shows just do one song? Are they all West End or are there out of town shows involved? ❤️
It’s a weekend in the summer (normally the first/second weekend in June), where west end and off west end shows are invited to perform either 1/2/3 of their songs, and sometimes drama schools are invited too. It’s held in Trafalgar Square in London and is completely free.
I was doing the wizard of Oz, and one of the people had to move this giant storm cellar during a blackout alone, and he fell off of the stage and onto it during the show
It’s when singers add a few extra notes to the tune of the song, especially if they would otherwise be holding one note for ages, they might go up and down a bit (in a tasteful way obviously) to make it more interesting. A good example is Veronica at the end of beautiful (in heathers). It can also mean when the lead singer has a bit more freedom to improvise over the ensemble, for example Washington at the end of One Last Time (Hamilton). Hope this was helpful
It's not a 'Good Morning World' unless I hear Oli say "lovely emails" 😂😂
