GenG is still solid and a top-tier team. You shouldn't expect a team that's been doing so well for so long to be able to maintain their form and strategy. They even look like they've improved. Munchkin had some great calls and insights in this game, especially, and great aim.
As for Sentinels... It's not a bad performance considering it's GenG, but it kind of makes you rethink how they've performed this year. After Madrid, they were riding a reputation of being able to get back on track, but they're a step or two behind the actual best teams. The players are still good, but there's a real lack of creativity in the way they play right now. They haven't tried ISO, they haven't tried Neon yet, and the stalemate feels like they just watched T2 and tried to copy it. Johnqt's Deadrock has also barely improved since Americas Stage 2. It looks like they were the gatekeepers to the legendary top 5, not real playoff contenders.
The individual decision making from some of the Sen players is like watching ranked plays. It happens so often that a single Sen player runs out of a smoke, thinking he can make a play and just dies is insane.

3:20 4v3, just wait for Tenz and go as 4. No need to leave someone alone. Peaking long alone is bad in the first place, when you are up in numbers

i could list so many more things just until this point where Sen fucked up but i think i made my point^^ they look like a team that came just resently together and still need to figure out how to play as a team.

I think it's good tenz is pointing it out, not as an excuse but also to help other pros. He's kind of the face of the valorant, and if he says something, riot has to do it, especially because of the fans. You shouldn't be getting even 150 fps on a 240hz monitor when competing at the HIGHEST level.

I think it's just too late for them to reset and qualify to playoffs unless a miracle happens like they somehow win. I don't think they gonna be a team that can destroy FPX or TH easily because their comps are terrible. They had like 2 weeks to change what they've done wrong but they instead stick with it. So it's pretty much over for them
Sen needs another off season to realize what can they do to actually fix this issue that works in regular season. Otherwise i dont see them winning anything here. Like they should at least tried a neon comp once

I knew this Gen G is going to go far right from the beginning. They play massively different from Paper Rex. Lots of discipline and strategy to thrive in the mid round.

Prx beat Geng twice in stage 1, with one bo5 in the pacific stage 1 final. But I think prx might have regressed a little due to poor map rotations and agent comps
Prx won once in kickoff groups against geng and geng won kickoff finals
Then geng defeated prx in madrid
Then prx defeated geng in stage 1 groups and then in grand finals of stage 1 so 2 wins in stage 1 for prx
And Geng defeated prx once in stage 2 playoffs
So 3-3 for this year but rn geng is the better team .

Kaplan talk about having multiple comps so much but we're 0-6 in the last 3 games and I keep seeing the same shit fck comps. No strats, no discipline, shit util, no trade, can't gather infos and absolutely zero map awareness.

As a Sentinels fan, I already knew they're not going win against GenG because they're stuck on the same mindset, same playstyle, same strat. We all know that this roster is stacked but they need to try something else man, the game is evolving and so their strat should improve too. Hope the management don't let anyone out and replace their coach with the better one.

Zekken went 19/36, 3-9 in first duels, 12% headshot (wild), 54% KAST (Kill, Assist, Survive, Trade) and plat chat rated him a top 5 player coming into champs. Im an NA fan, but sentinels (especially their fans) need to realize how bad they are. They are just embarrassing our region.

This was pretty much expected, GenG who was always on top vs Sen who bombed out of playoffs. I mean sen did a pretty decent job on standing their ground though I won't discredit that but what sen actually lacks is *They improve way, way too slow* compared to the actual top teams we had currently. Fix this issue and sen should be able to stay on top *consistently* and not fall off after winning something big like the usual.

There were too many rounds where Sentinels just looked like bots. There were rounds where their set plays worked and they looked fine. But when things got chaotic, they seemed too easily overwhelmed.

Zekken did well on Attack with Jett but almost looked clueless on Defense, his aim didn't look good either. The casters called JohnQT's deadlock "cosmetic", absolutely on point with how GENG either dodged, broke it, waited it out or simply negated with Raw aim and KayO util. Sen didn't learn shit from their losses in Americas.
@@zetsubou3704 deadlock looked really promising after teams like leviatan succeeded with it. But holy shit john's util usage on deadlock was horrible, and geng fully capitalized on that.
