When the first round body got found too quickly my plan became to hard pair and frame a crewmate, then confuse meetings, and hang in there without getting voted as long as I can. I'm glad the improvised pairing worked out!

5up is the smartest thing.
I think the risky kill in vials was the critical point of this game. Made 5up look very innocent thanks to his non hesitant talk even when Cassie brought up her having the report button too.
Then at final round is more likely to vote yuri who was sus and paired with stell than 5up who was cleared for most of the game (except the thing in comms which he sorted great by avoiding people realizing Stell already done a kill making her incapable to do the Ilyssa kill) so I don't think 19 is to blame.
Also great chaos induced from Stell talking out of her ass 🤣

2imp roles and 3 crew roles it's less than most modded lobbies
The mod itself isn't vanilla+, but the settings they were using were. This game only had Administrator (checks admin) and Engineer as the crew roles

ooo, strange new idea for an Imposter; tentatively calling it the Broadcaster, when it kills, EVERYONE gets a Report button! Makes everyone want to spend time to find the actual body, and really puts vouches to the stress-test if it's not found!
Interesting - a little twist on the "Celebrity" role in Goose, Goose, Duck. When the celebrity dies, everyone gets notified that they died.
Would it just be a global report button that anyone can click?
That could be an interesting idea if redined.
@@nickcampbell3812 That was my thinking, yeah; everyone, no matter where they are, would see a Report button, so unless someone basically trips over the body no one knows *where* it is, but at the same time, *everyone* knows that a Kill happened, so it's balanced. 😁
wish there was a way to tell the people apart its super hard as I havent seen the people you were playing with before other than that this was an amazing video!!
They had the discord bubbles appear in the bottom left whenever they talked so you could see whose talking

From Yuri's perspective it makes sense that it was obviously 5up during that second to last meeting (because everyone else had been ruled out) but it's still very annoying when people misremember things in a way that gives them more "evidence" for the internal bias they've just created.
Like, when you're an imposter, you have to lie sometimes. That's obvious. But in the second to last meeting when Yuri claimed 5up said he left Stell on comms--when it was very very very obvious that the ENTIRE time 5up had only ever said he left *illysa* on comms--that was just annoying. No Yuri, even though 5up lied, you didn't catch him in a lie like you think you did, you were just going senile.
That's just a part of social deduction games. We're all meat bags with dumb, squishy brains and we're prone to confirmation bias and misremembering things. Personally I think the frustration and chaos that causes makes the game more entertaining.
I misremembered something? I'm sorry? Last I checked, the fact that we don't have perfect memory is the whole reason social deduction games are fun is because we aren't perfect lmao. And like, 5up still won, lmao.
With that being said, I didn't even fully catch onto the fact that it was 5up until the last meeting, I was tunnelled on Stell and Cara for most of this game 🤷🏻♀️
Also, the part I was referring to was at the beginning of the meeting "I left Ilyssa with Stell", I may have misspoke, but after checking again, I knew what I meant wasn't me misremembering. Unfortunately my mind doesn't convey what I mean in the best way sometimes, and my reasoning for things can seem out there for others, but to me my logic was sound.

You can choose your impostor partner
The cultist can choose a crew mate to become another imposter called a follower. Not sure what else it can do but the follower can see where the cultist is located

@@segevstormlord3713 I believe you can choose mid-game, taking a confirmed crewmate in exchange for slower early kills. Also, you get to talk mid-round which can be helpful

Am I the only person that was confused about 5up killing on comms and then blaming stell..?
He had to blame her in that situation, because the follower cannot be guessed, and if it wasnt stell in that situation, it would have been 5up so he had to at least half blame stell (she was also just too agressive while already being sussed so he couldnt keep her in while not being extremely sus anyways)
Stell unfortunately didn't have the best run. She was deemed suspicious for Pyro's death on round 1, which she did do at 1:11, and people were ready to vote her for Pinkee's death on round 3, which she also did at 10:11.
She only got out of being voted because 5up said to Skip during round 3's meeting, and she had solid reasoning during Yuri's button afterwards. But her reasoning only stated more people could be suspicious, she couldn't clear herself, and 5up would incriminate himself trying to save her from being voted.
Voting her was just the safest play for 5up after his kill on comms.

@Silentmeklar hmm... Well, after reviewing the footage, I have to agree with you. I don't think 5up can say for sure that cara was going to button, but that kill was careless, because cara saw him with ilyssa before they went to button. Then Stell started walking with him and ilyssa lol
@@snowarmth well if cara wasn’t directly going to button they were going to check vitals at the very least but when I first saw the video they looked like they were running to button (might be a bit hindsight since I could see that stell had already done a kill)

This was a good video, but this lobby is so intense. This is a game, this isn’t chess, it’s Among Us. The other lobbies, Junkyard’s, Hafu’s… they have rules, the are pros, but they mostly just want to have fun. They want to play a fun game and entertain their audience with their fun. I guess there is a place for this lobby, for someone who really takes it hard sweaty serious… but it’s just not for me. I like the balance the other lobbies have, these guys are talking to each other like detectives working a case file or something. There’s no joy in any of their voices.

It's hard to compare with the old lobbies, where the players played 8 days a week for months on end. These guys don't play nearly as often as the oldies did, and yet they're still really good most of the time. Everybody has their off days

I know these guys are "ranked" players and that is very high skill...but this was actually really boring and too much thinking went into an otherwise pretty simple game. lmfao "they/thems" while i miss the other members, as mentioned by other people and even his own chat, Hafu, DD, Steve and everyone else are more laid back and not really competitive, so 5up gets bored when he pulls one decent kill off and is hard cleared. It isnt fun either. Just compare his old games to the new ones and you can see a much more "competitive" 5up.
