- The legendary Chip and Dale are back - but you’ve NEVER seen them like this before. This production brings together the best of animation history with a new twist - and some new talents.
John Mulaney and Andy Samberg are the first to voice Chip and Dale in decades - and they brought a whole new and brilliant energy. Lots of time was in the booth and connecting with each other to bring the relationship together. They weren’t alone though. Some very special guests helped to show them just how to nail it. One of their co-stars was on set filming every day, but their experience was pretty different from the norm since they were pretty much the only actor on set all the time, acting opposite different models and markers!
One of the best parts of this movie is spotting just how many different characters make it to the screen - especially beloved Disney classics AND characters from outside the animated Disney world. However, it wasn’t easy to make it all happen. The lawyers in this production had a VERY important role in making this a reality. This movie has been a long time coming since the production team had to jump through all kinds of hoops to convince Disney to agree to make the film and of course, to fund it. One very short clip featuring Seth Rogen was what sold Disney on the film and the rest was history - and that clip happens to have been sent straight to Disney Plus, meaning it might end up being released as a special feature! This blast from the past will fill all your nostalgic needs while reminding us of the rich and incredible history of animation.

The problem was it was more of a chip N dale movie an not a Rescue Rangers movie.
If they make a sequel, I will be excited to watch.
It was a great to be a part of it. Damn hardwork and late night shifts. But, yeah its great to see compliments and praises from the people. Worth it

I admit I was a little scared about what would become of it after I saw the trailer (anyone who grew up in the late 80s/early 90s, this was a HUGE part of our childhood), but I decided to give it a go and I got into it, definitely did not see that ending coming. Definitely a love letter to the world of animation.

Chip and Dale aren't my favorite Disney characters but it's totally awesome they got their own movie. I love the different animation of characters. The sets were all awesome. This movie is awesome. I can only watch clips of this movie and that's why I love this movie. ;)

It’s really cool to see lots of cameos and Easter eggs in this movie! It’s a shame they didn’t include ugly Sonic in this list.
Pretty strange that this film had surprisingly little to do with Rescue Rangers itself, and instead the vast majority of it was a tribute to animation's history and a clever allegory of the bootleg film industry. So it was rather nice to watch it anyway, even though I have pretty much zero nostalgia for Rescue Rangers.🥰
4:07 This movie must be a new record holder for "the most third-party appearances in a feature film". And to think that Roger Rabbit only had characters from three major studios (besides Disney): Warner, MGM and Paramount.
Not to mention Wreck-it-Ralph, which has countless video game character cameos from several different studios. Just think how was it even possible to get agreements for all those licensed properties!😲👾🕹
If you have not seen this movie yet I suggest you go watch it I saw it twice already, it's really fun to look at and dale is so cute because I guess he's in cgi and my favorite cameo/boyfriend 😁roger rabbit of course, I love that movie who framed roger rabbit too.

(4:30) As it was with director Rich Moore of Wreck-It Ralph with many video game characters of different companies, it looks like director Akiva Schaffer was also likely seated at a desk signing one contract after another with other third party studios to use their characters or properties into the movie. Spared no expense with Hasbro!

The Fact That This Movie Is So Similar To Who Framed Roger Rabbit
I’m amazed Disney said no to use their characters in their own movie. That’s just “unnecessary rubbish”.
how could you not even mention Ugly Sonic?
Chip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers is going to put a gigantic smile on your face throughout.
The movie makes plenty of references to the original Rescue Rangers show, the two have almost nothing in common tonally - the show is a very kid-friendly adventure show, while the movie is a buddy action comedy film filled with pop culture references. It’s not what you would expect from a Chip n’ Dale reboot, but in many ways, it’s even better. Disney could’ve easily played it safe with a fun but forgettable adventure film, something like The Rescuers, but instead they decided to take a risk, and it’s a risk that pays off.
Why is it "either this, or a boring rescuers film"? I would have loved to see a rescue rangers in an indiana jones style action movie.
If you dont like the property, make something else. This movie was something wearing the skin of characters that writers and creatures actually worked hard to create.

I enjoyed this movie until I heard that apparently the whole thing with Peter Pan was something that really happened to his voice actor back in the days who got treated so badly by Disney and later died and instead of doing anything at all to pay any form of Respect Disney just went and made everything even worse in every way possible...

They certainly had no problem with that dark plot inspired by Peter Pan's actor getting screwed by Disney and then he got depressed and took his own life. That's the most messed up part of the movie making Peter the villain and using the same reason Disney cut the original actor as a part of the story, him being too old. Classy, really...not.

What I found amazing is that we got two adult animated Netflix stars in a hero and villain roles: John mulaney (big mouth's Andrew glouberman) as chip and Will arnett (Bojack horseman's titular character) as sweet Pete.

However, this movie really should have been called "Who Frame Roger Rabit 2" as VERY little about this movie is about Disney's Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers. As someone who grew up in that time period and loved watching Disney's Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers, I'm actually disappointed.

A rare squalor happened, of course. The characters are like the pictures of a bad artist, flat and empty. Facial expressions and forms are alien. There is no aesthetic admiration for this attempt at 3d expression. No grace or beauty. There is no depth and love, not an adequate plot. Inappropriate flat humor. A fierce mockery of the secret. An absurd untalented product without a sense of beauty, reminiscent of the same pirated products from the movie. They dumped everything in a heap and made a huge unintelligible dump. A bunch of some defective characters, like the Sonic who talks about the existence of the original Sonic, by the way ... Completely unreasonably mocked the key points, just for fun. You can often hear about the key point that this is such a specific joke - an attempt to justify mediocre "creators" who, due to their "giftedness", have no idea how great creations continue. If no one understands the joke, is it a success? We all understand how society looks at those who joked unsuccessfully. And how they perceive those whose jokes are not appropriate and not funny. What do those whose jokes are funny only to them look like. For this, usually, you can get in the face. And even if otherwise, if everyone and everything suddenly understood, then this fake does not automatically become magnificent and worthy of its original. Comedy is completely out of place here, as are the comic creators. They do it under the sauce "We love the Rescuers." Well, well... Couldn't do it, really, like Disney, in general.
Only that picture was remembered, which hung on the wall at the "actor" Monty. And how wonderful it would be if the film (or its redemption) were in this style and with an adequate plot.Luckily, this is not an original reality that could continue canon. My favorite cameo was perhaps the three Seth Rogen characters; Pumbaa, Master Mantis and B.O.B. It was just so unexpected, and also Pumbaa is one of my favorite Disney characters, and Monsters vs. Aliens (where B.O.B. is from) is inexplicably among my favorite animated films of all time!😍🐗🦗🦠
