I agree. It's clear that many of the greatest composers wanted a big big sound that you feel right in the gut. Back then you did that by adding instruments. With metal, at least in the beginning, you did that by taking away instruments and a small group with plenty of gain can achieve that big big sound.
Gabriele Neco Vivaldi is the first metal musician. HE WAS THE TRUE METALHEAD IN BAROQUE PERIOD. And in classic period, Beethoven was the fucking revolutionary metalhead.
"Yet... Isn’t this the guy who penned a suicide note, ripped it up and shook his fist at fate? Broke a half dozen keys every time he pounded on the (early forms of the) piano and brought drums into the orchestra?! And treated his room like Zeppelin on tour?!! The origins of metal (seriously) pass down through Wagner and reach back to Beethoven’s defiant, thundering, raging and racing music. The critical reviews of his contemporaries saw his music as loud noise -sound familiar?" - offhand
Brian Hyde this version is more metal than symphonic. I suggest you listen to At Vance's version. They give a lot of respect to the original composition
When you listen to stuff like this...you literally feel Metal in your soul... You feel the Classical roots of Metal reverberate through your bones, into your heart...and it just feels so natural.
As a fan of Classical, Opera, Rock, Punk and Metal and Symphonic Metal, this compilation is maybe my favorite thing to listen to now while just chilling at home. Classical music on an electric guitar is INCRECIBLE!!
I've read in somewhere, that classical music is good for babies growth, but i want my future babies listen to metal, so now i find a way that can do the both
@@OfficialShabda if you keep changes out and just replace the symphony orchestra with a band. then he can sit his ass down and i bet he will headbang that lil wigged fucker
Well, Beethoven was considered the rebel one of his age, so is posible of understand the fact that means his music been amazing with and elec. Guitar...
I feel like Beethoven would have approved of metal. He might not have been able to hear this when he was alive, but if there is heaven, or we do become energy that wanders around forever - I feel he'd like this.
So many metal „purists“ here smh. Of course this is a fantastic interpretation of Beethoven‘s 5th. But not all metal sounds like that. It‘s literally only neo-classical and to some extent speed metal. Other metal genres have entirely different structures and levels of complexity. It‘s not the genre that makes a piece of music similar to the classics, but the artists behind it, and the extent to which they go to apply harmonic variety and music theory
I think young generation will appreciate more the classical music if they hear these versions. I'm 57 and I love it!!! No disrespect to people who appreciate the original classical music wqy. PEACE!!!
you can bet everything you own in life, shit! everything you'll ever lay eyes on in your entire life, that if Beethoven were alive today, he woulda been one of us haha! \m/
I'm doing a Classical music course online; everytime I'm told to listen to a certain piece I just look up the metal version. I'm getting everything right anyway tho c:
Why does Classical and Metal go so well together????
because they have the same structure. If Beethoven were alive today he would be a heavy metal fan
because metal is just classical in destortion.
VostokNNL two sides of the same coin
@Schwanzmajor
What about the big 4
@Schwanzmajor
Except Metallica
Why do I have the suspicion that this is the degree of intensity that Beethoven himself was trying achieve...?
My favorite joke about this topic is "That was so awesome Beethoven headbanged so hard his tombstone broke."
Because it is my friend
@@zduke that was so awesome even beethoven heard it
mob2uz
Beethoven got deaf in his 40s
So you’re right about him increasing it’s intensity 😉😂
@@Born2Losenot2win If he had lived in this era, he would've surpassed the heaviest of metal for sure.
Symphony of destruction
Lyze Moon i see what you did there ;)

MegaDave Taylor zzaaaten adama bir şey dediğim yok¿
I applaud you.
Beethoven was secretly a metalhead before metal was a thing.
ThunderStruck 115 So were Vivaldi and Pagannini
🤘
Ye
FACTS!!!
Just listen to his Grosse Fugue
You know, I think that if classical composers were alive today, they would be making metal music.
definitely
it's called symphonic metal.
I agree. It's clear that many of the greatest composers wanted a big big sound that you feel right in the gut. Back then you did that by adding instruments. With metal, at least in the beginning, you did that by taking away instruments and a small group with plenty of gain can achieve that big big sound.
Neoclassical Metal.
Nah
Beethoven was the first metal musician.
Gabriele Neco Vivaldi is the first metal musician. HE WAS THE TRUE METALHEAD IN BAROQUE PERIOD. And in classic period, Beethoven was the fucking revolutionary metalhead.
JS Bach was the first!
Vivaldi was the first
*Vivaldi wants to know your location*
Yahh
This really shows how similar metal and classical music can be. This honestly could have been an original metal song. :)
Classical music is metal without electricity and different instruments
Alex Tepozteco That's what I've been thinking all along, too! ;)
+Alex Tepozteco
Sorry but no
+Lebewohl I have to agree, there are similarities but what alex wrote is just exaggerated

If Beethoven were alive today, his band would be hailed as the most metal band ever. This is proof. Nice job, good sir!
Bach says otherwise
Somewhere in Heaven (if it exists) Beethoven sitting there, smiling, thinking this guy gave his music a justice.
I don't think so: he's probably still pretty deaf.
MrFullspoon he might be better off being deaf than listening to this mashed up version of his symphony.
Brian Hyde then why the fuck are you listening to it then!!!????!!!!
LOL Because a friend recommended me to listen to Symphonic Meta and I am tasting it. .
Brian Hyde this version is more metal than symphonic. I suggest you listen to At Vance's version. They give a lot of respect to the original composition

when classical meets metal, metal becomes unstoppable
It always suprises me how 'right' Beethoven's work can sound in a metal rendition, well done sir!
Beethoven was a his time metallist
Axmo - spot on
❤️❤️❤️❤️🤟
beethoven would be proud, because he loved music and this is the purest music of the 21st century.
Nah,my friend...beethoven would be so so mad if he listen this...you know his temperaments,he wouldn't be happy if someone changes his music
MrJoenyan1 He wouldn't be happy if he lived to see Wrecking Ball.
MrJoenyan1 you is a crazy
The purest music of the 21st century is still classical music. It still exists today, did you know?
@@OfficialShabda if you keep changes out and just replace the symphony orchestra with a band. then he can sit his ass down and i bet he will headbang that lil wigged fucker
Symphonic Metal is my favorite kind of metal.
Well, Beethoven was considered the rebel one of his age, so is posible of understand the fact that means his music been amazing with and elec. Guitar...
One of the better versions of classical music played as metal. I'm quite impressed. WHoever made this, Please do the entire symphony like this.
Beethoven foi o primeiro metaleiro da história da música!!!
Muito foda mesmo
Exactly! You nailed it!
I feel like Beethoven would have approved of metal. He might not have been able to hear this when he was alive, but if there is heaven, or we do become energy that wanders around forever - I feel he'd like this.
I feel like if Beethoven was alive now he would approve of this style in his music.
I love symphonic music now
I mixed my favorites types of music

So this is why I love metal and classical so much. Same musical structure hahaha.
I love how metal and classical are the same genre with different instruments.
The 5th, as it was composed back in 1800s, was already metal music.
Classical and metal my favorites

Im imagining Beethoven on stage with fireworks and a huge crowd while him and a band play this.
In heaven that would be one hell of a concert

Classical musicians might have to be heavy metal basically, but the technologies on their days couldn't allow them to do such things!
thank godness symphonic metal exists
This is perfect
if Beethoven was still here, he'd be rocking out with his very metal hair xD
This is awesome :-D
