When the promo/press tour is better than the movie...
they honestly wasted such golden opportunities with this franchise. first class was the best followed by days of future past. apocalypse was awful. haven't watched dark phoenix. but it's sounding like it's even worse.

I JUST WATCHED IT! EPIC! the best x men movie so far! AND THATS A FACT, only retards hate it because they are possers and just go with the masses, but it's perfection in all senses, million times better that days of future past... in that movie they barely use their powers, but in dark phoenix, it's like infinity war, they all use their maximum powers, there is tension, drama, emotions, epic fights, everything we wanted to see in days of future past but they never gave us..and with hans zimmer music.PERIOD.

Thought it could be okay, but this was such a shit movie. Plot was stupid, dialogue was garbage, Jessica Chastain tried to use her acting skills to save her one-dimensional character but failed so the villain was a pile of trash. The heroes were mainly just walking cliches. Boring too. Bunch of explosions threaded together by laughable convenience and a limp ending. A massive step back from Days of Future Past and much much worse than the average at best Apocalypse.
It was written by the same idiot who made X-Men 3, so really what were we expecting? Bryan Singer and decent writers made 4 good to average movies, and then Simon Kinberg comes in to ruin the finale again. Special effects looked good and you could tell the actors were trying their best to sell a screenplay where the characters turn into more stupid versions of themselves for no reason.
Best thing Dark Phoenix did was kill off Mystique before she could lecture us more about women. Everything else was absolute garbage. And you know what is a fact? That the majority of people agree. This is a shit movie written by a shit writer who never should’ve been allowed back to the X-Men franchise. Can’t believe the studio greenlit this. Same people who gave us Logan and Deadpool said yes to this? Bad decision.

RIP Fox's X-Men franchise. Once again, they tried to condense the Phoenix storyline into a single movie, when it should have been a trilogy. They should end the first film with Jean's death, have her resurrected as the heroic Phoenix in part 2, and then have her become the evil Dark Phoenix in part 3. You'd think they would have learned from their previous attempt (X3) not to rush things. The 1990s cartoon series did a much better job of telling the story across 9 20 minute long episodes (less than 3 hours total) so there is no excuse to leave out so much material.
rocketcon lol. It was a 2 chapter movie but because Disney bought Fox, Fox did reshoots of the 3rd act to quickly close the chapter. When Fox made the movie, they never counted on Disney buying Fox and cancellin their future films. Anyways it was still a fantastic film. Beautiful !

Kris B Since Disney acquired the X-men for the MCU they openly stated they aren’t going to touch the X-men/introduce them into the MCU until 2025 because they wanna establish this new phase 4 first. Which works out great because people are gonna get more time with Captain Marvel. They’re gonna establish her character more. People will become more attached to her and all of that will crumble because Rogue is coming... and if you know Rogue’s origin story then you know how she gets her super strength & flying abilities lmfao
For now Fantastic Four is what they’re working on at the moment since they haven’t been on screen for 5 years! Rumors are spreading that they’re casting them at the moment
@@ohio X-Men will rise again just like the phoenix. I believe the MCU will do a great job with them when their time comes. For now, I'm just looking forward to some GoTG Vol.3 and Far From Home action (fingers crossed for a sinister six afterwards). Of course, Fantastic Four will be interesting plus we'll have sequels to Captain Marvel, Black Panther and Doctor Strange.

Saw it yesterday. Worst movie ever. He dullest one ever. X-men's my fav comic series. It started so great. So well done scripts, dialogs, plot, great actors. Total awesomeness. Total package. I've seen each movie at least 3 times. Pure enjoyment. And then it all started to degrade. That kindergarten of actors, aliens that stare funny and do nothing, and so on and so forth. They killed Raven only because Jen got tired of the role She played well in her first x-men movie, but than she became a Diva and ruined the character. Raven was such a great character in the first 3 movies, a badass, sexy, feminine, a grown woman, sharp. Lady Winterfell's is ok, not her fault the script is a piece of shit. Fassbender is great in any movie. Chastain would do great Raven.
