Thanks @stepleton !
These are the sample Clascal programs which come with the Lisa programming workshop supplement. They're not really intended to be useful, but to show you how bits of the Lisa OS Toolkit work so you can build your own applications.
Apologies if I have missed this in your other presentations, but I was wondering what the base is for the Lisa Operating System. Was it the foundation that would support future classis OS releases or was it something novel to the Lisa? Great video, by the way. I really, really hope there's more to come. :)
The Office System is an environment in the Operating System. It was novel to the Lisa, though I'm sure some "lessons learned" made their way into the Mac.
Bitsavers has lots of Lisa documentation. This one might be a good first read: www.bitsavers.org/pdf/apple/lisa/workshop_beta/Operating_System_Reference_Manual_For_The_LISA.pdf
In Jason's previous video he mentions how QuickDraw was fundamental to graphics display on both the Lisa and later the Macintosh (with changes). Other bits and pieces of code (and lots of UI ideas of course) were reused for the Mac System and Toolbox as well I think?
