Very cool Jack! One could make one similar to a Harry Potter Wand with a dark stained wood / bark looking base. Hmm.... You always come up with creative ideas!
Yes. But in the Harry Potter Nimbus 200 the right end is very thin. So either they used magnets only at the left end or then a very thin magnet on the right. Any thoughts?
Nice. I'm working at some similar at the moment. But I'll use not a dowel instead of a tiny neon tube and add a kind of mini Teslacoil (SlayerExciter) in the base. So i get (hopefully) a levitating and lightning Neon tube with no visible connection.
Very nice build jack! Instead of a dowel with exposed magnets, you might bury the magnets at the correct position inside a piece of wood so they can't be seen when levitated, that would make it even more interesting. Just a thought.
Make slots in the two pieces of wood, put the magnets in the slots, then put the two wood pieces together so the magnets are hidden. Now that would be cool. So what , let them guess.
Pretty rad, I've been thinking of doing some similar, except I wanted to hide the magnets in all the wood pieces, so it looks like the wood is floating by itself... I've been collecting microwave magnets for this purpose 🤓👍🏼
If you placed 2 rows of 2 magnets on each end of the block, with a certain space in between, could you get the dowel to levitate without the piece of acrylic, i wonder?
Not sure but in the video description at above this comment section is a link to his website and this project you may find your question answered there
funny I was just watching a video of yours from 2 years ago your little tool caddy I want to make one similar to that but for art supplies for my mother as a Christmas gift that's pretty cool Jack ! netcenter you were using is that a belt sander and you turned into a vertical stationary belt sander? and I like your new vise too 🖒🖒🍻
***** thats awesome and one thing i like about your channel too is everything is functional ill post pics when im done with it I was going to do a video but it's a Christmas gift then kind of getting down to you know crunch time didn't want to have to worry about the camera and stuff while I was making this no room for error because it's crunch time
ouch jack! doesn't using your hand as a hammer like that hurt your hand? my dad told me years ago that this action is thought to be bad for your cardiac health. I can't imagine how that might be but ive never done it since. just passing that on for what it's worth...
I thought I was the only one who noticed, all the red has disappeared, he replied before and I compared it to his profile picture, he couldn't see the difference . he might be colour-blind therefore no being able to see red but that's the only thing I can think
Cool project! Nice one!
Cool project! Great job! :)
That's pretty slick! I can see you levitating all kinds of things like pens, pencils, fancy chopsticks, etc.!
Awesome as usual Jack. You never cease to amaze me
That's really cool Jack! Magnets rock!

That's really cool Jack!
Cool to see that actually working... Thanks for the content!

Funny project! For the moments, when someone needs a little smile in his face.
Very nice build jack!

Jack Houweling Oh Ok. This one looks more fun anyway. Especially when it's spinning!
well done mister,like always :-)
Very Cool Jack! Looks like you may have used magnets on your drill press dust collector.
Very cool. Very very cool!!!
This would make a terrific pencil holder. A standard pencil is about the size of your dowel so you should give it a try.
cool project!
That's so cool. Love it
Jack houweling good work but can u plz make a mini drill press

Awesome. Do you think it would be possible to replace the dowel with a pen?
chris brown
That's what I was thinking. That would look neat on a desk.
amazing .. thank you jack
super cool and nice! thanks!
Outstanding!
That's pretty awesome! Reverse polarity. How could 15 people actually not like this? Unbelievable how miserable some people are.
I think I just figured out how. When I slid my mouse up to click on Like, I almost accidentally clicked the wrong one. Maybe that happens sometimes.
@Jim Hester
But you can reverse it by clicking it again
Tooloed
bravissimo sei un maestro del legno🖒
Pretty neat!

Legal a força do magnetismo! Rio Brasil
Very cool Jack... Where did you order your magnets from?

Would this work if thr magnets are not at far ends but both pairs are to the left quarter?
Nicely done! Thanks!
+Clipper 1973 Thank you.
This looks sweet
super cool !
Nice build Jack!! What happens if the Plexiglas isn't there? JimE
I see. It must keep it in alignment. Thanks. JimE
So clever!
Super cool!
PARABÉNS PELA SUA IDEIA - I LIKE VERY MUCH
Nice job ; thanks
This is so cool
That is cool!
pen holder?
4:09 now, if it were possible to hide the magnets on the "pencil", then it may be even the super magic.
Keep it up! :)
That would make a nice pen holder
Cette video m'a aimantée
It is not an original idea, but the built and final product is nice.
Exactly, final product is much better and elegant and as you said magnets are hidden.
Cool-levitation ))))
***** Waiting for your new videos!
I think the sander and the drill were turning in the same direction.
ouch jack! doesn't using your hand as a hammer like that hurt your hand? my dad told me years ago that this action is thought to be bad for your cardiac health. I can't imagine how that might be but ive never done it since. just passing that on for what it's worth...
Cool!!!!
Can you please turn up the saturation in your camera?
I thought I was the only one who noticed, all the red has disappeared, he replied before and I compared it to his profile picture, he couldn't see the difference . he might be colour-blind therefore no being able to see red but that's the only thing I can think
Weird. Didn't know cameras can catch diseases too! ;)
It really hurts my eyes watching it like that...
magical
Neato!
Hypnotic.. O.o jajaj
Great
good try but not levitation until you trow away the plastic and add 2 more magnets.
