Got the game for Christmas from my dad (I’m 18) so we could play as a family since he has a business finance degree he felt it’d be a great game to play as a young adult in college with my other siblings. In this newer version of the game, does the game itself calculate your ROI (return on investment) or do you have to know the math to calculate your ROI to determine if a deal makes financial sense for you?

What's the different form cashflow to cashflow 101? They look different, are they the same?

1). Yes. You continue to use the cash ledger until the game concludes (once you've exceeded your cashflow by $50,000 per month.
1.1). You will start out with your new Fast Track cash position.
2).You can use original cash ledger or the space that is provided on the fast track cashflow statement.
2.1).Which deductions are you referring to on the fast track?

So glad that you decided to connect here and let me know that we're also connected via CFD. Your question is an awesome one and really demonstrates the power of real estate. The represents a reasonable real life situation. When you buy a rental property you need to leave your down payment (i.e. - $100,000) to take control of the property, then when you sell it you get all the proceeds ($500,000) from selling the property. These numbers are made up but are used to illustrate the same point. Hopefully this helps to clarify things for you. Make it a great day, bK

I’ve just Received my board game but the version I have is different from the one you’re explaining yours seems a little more simple? Is there different versions of this game?

The version that I show in the game is the most recent version that only has the balance sheet, Profit and Loss Statement and the general ledger to keep track of your cash position. So I guess by building up all this myth around this game, someone is making really good many with all the lemings buying it. Thank you for this video. Which edition do you recommend (New vs. Classic)? I also saw that there was CashFlow 202 and that you needed 101 first before you can use 202. However, from what I read, CashFlow 202 is not compatible with the Classic version. Have you tried 202?
Hi Lily! I enjoy playing Cashflow 101...My preference is the new version because the games tend to go faster and it reinforces keeping tabs on money movement as you adjust your ledger constantly. I've not played the 2020 version yet. Hopefully this helps. Make it a great day!

I prefer to play the board game because of the learning opportunity that exists when you're playing next to someone else. I did start playing the game online because I could find anyone in my area that played the game. I eventually went out and bought my own game board(s) and now I host a game here locally in Barcelona and meet really cool people that are also interested in increasing their financial intelligence. Congratulations on making it to the fast track Silvia! Once you get to the fast track you are able to collect your income then collect the income as you move around the fast track board. Does that clear up your question? Thanks for asking!

whats the difference between new and old edition
The new edition doesn't have the physical bills and some of the content has been modified in order to speed up the learning that the game provides. I hope that this helps you. Best, bK

Hi Alismaria, If you've not played Cashflow 101 you may want to start there first. It's kind of like asking you can run before you can walk...Of course, it's possible but it's probably a better experience for you and all involved if you start with the basics first. You need to own 101 first, ( 202 is an extention of the 101 game)

Unfortunately the game you're showing of is not "Cashflow _101"_ but the newer version that is just called "Cashflow" anymore.
I say that because this version has been (aside from some design choices which I think downgraded the games look a little bit, the older miniatures were actual models made from plastic) slightly altered gameplay wise: The component of choosing a dream to accomplish as a means to win the game was taken out. This doesn't break the game but it changes the board a little since the fields were taken out and it also dumbs the variety of the game down a little bit. I honestly don't understand the choice to cut this bit from the game.
So for anyone looking for the full experience I recommend to look for the older version of the game.
None of my friends and my family are interested of anything outside the traditional ways to earn money. It’s boring to play alone too, dunno what to do
How about getting together with some like-minded people to play Cashflow 101? It's a great way to meet new people, learn and grow at the same time. Hope this helps.

Hi Renée, Firstly, Thanks for taking the time to ask a question. For the first 2 1/2 yrs I asked people to pay with their time. I now ask for people to pay €10 to attend and we donate 80% (€8) to a local children’s charity. Are you based in Barcelona?

Is this better for beginners than the classic version?
This very is the same as the classic version with the exception of the actual 'paper' currency. The learning is/can be the same because you're sharing with others in a face to face environment. Hope this helps. Do you have access to a board game already?
