Hi sir. currently working in the Bank here in the Philippines. Favorable po ba mag apply sa mga banks sa Singapore if you're a Filipino or they prefer locals? And lastly, may idea po kayo if its hard to apply sa mga Banks in SG? Sana po mapansin. Thank you
Sorry for the late reply @GelliannNunez, if its the teller type of work I think it will be difficult dahil that job is preferred for locals and PR. Very low chance dahil and prioroty for those is locals.
Hi @zeihhh3422, hindi ma-approve yung SPass or EP mo if no experience or fresh grad. (foreigners). Sa Singaporean lang po yung fresh graduate. I'd suggest na kuha muna kayo ng experience atleast 3-5 years bago mag-abroad.
There is no age limit beyond the legal retirement age (62). As long as your company is willing to, and able to, sponsor an EP, you should be fine. Note that the salary is only one of the criteria.
For SPass naman… From 45 years old and above. The salary must meet or exceed the minimum set forth by the MOM, ensuring that S Pass holders receive fair wages and prevent companies from hiring cheaper foreign labour.
Hi @donmanigos1942 I did a search sa jobstreet and marami naman openings www.jobstreet.com.sg/Draftsman-jobs though I'm not sure if the demand is high... Thank you Sir for watching! 🙏
first time mag work abroad, may approved IPA na po for EP, ano pa po ang hinahanap na documents sa PH immigration? may nakita kasi akong OEC, is this applicable po?
If dadaan kayo sa OWWA, yes you need OEC... matagal tagal ang proseso if sa Pilipinas ninyo lalakarin yan documents... hindi din kayo pwde lumabas ng bansa as OFW kahit meron na kayong IPA, haharangin kayo sa immigration if wala kayong OWWA at OEC. Yung iba lumalabas as tourist then pag dating sa SG saka nila inaayos yung docs (OEC, OWWA, Contract Verification etc...)
Hello @djcbars3039, since wala ka pang record... gawin mo nalang is direct apply sa mga company... search for their email sa mga jobsite then pasahan mo ng resume mo... yung ibang site kasi ng SingPass para makapag-login, meron lang singpass yung mga nakapagwork na sa SG. Hi @laniecabanban4702, you can try to apply pero kasi it's difficult to get hired if walang experience related sa work/role na pinapasukan ninyo... If that's the case I'd suggest na if you can get experience muna sa PH then try to apply sa SG... mare-reject din kasi yung EP if no experience... and yung employer magri-risk on hiring if there's no experience.
@@JewelAlcantara-i5h yes it needs Singpass or if an employer is willing to hire you but need to check the documents first. You can try to search for the website ng mga companies and send it directly to them your CV/Resume.
Hi @daisyliz1017 , same process pa din, yung employer need ka i-apply ng working permit (EP or SPass), then once ma-approve (bibigyan ka ng IPA or In-Principle Approval)... then pwede ka ng pumunta dito sa SG para ma-issue yung working permit mo. Then pwde sa PH mo apply yung OWWA atbp requirements... Or pwde din kapag nasa SG ka, mas mabilis if dito mo aayusin sa SG.
@@daisyliz1017 yes they can kahit nasaan ka, usually sa IT madami dahil yung interview is thru online... depende din kasi sa line of work at sa company...
Hi @johnreymejores, yes pwde kaso you need 5+ years of experience + really high skill set... usually nasa IT, yung mataas ang demand pero kaunti ang supply ng ganun skills... e.g. AI Developer, Python, Data Scientist and so on... If its the usual skills or role then no chance to get hired.

Sponsorship Requirement: Every candidate seeking employment in Singapore must have sponsorship from a legally incorporated Singaporean entity. This requirement can be addressed by partnering with an Employer of Record (EOR), a third-party organization that serves as the legal employer of your global workforce. check this site sa mga requirements: www.nesfircroft.com/resources/blog/how-to-get-a-work-visa-in-singapore--a-comprehensive-guide/

Hello @relaxingpeeps7497, magkakaroon ka lang ng SingPass if meron ka ng work dito sa Singapore, you need an NRIC/FIN number para makapag register... applicable ito sa mga may existing jobs na. Sa case mo you cannot do the assessment, you can do this in case meron ka ng work dito sa Singapore then mag-transfer ka sa ibang work.
Singapore has four official languages: English, Malay, Mandarin Chinese, and Tamil. Hokkien is a Chinese dialect spoken by a significant portion of the Chinese population in Singapore, but Mandarin is also widely spoken due to its use in education and as a common language among the different Chinese dialect groups.

Yung iba ginagawa is nagtourist papunta sa SG, then aayusin yung permit nila then once ma-isse yung working permit saka nila aayusin yung OWWA/OEC dito.
Hi @Kurotrade if line of work is call center I don't think you can get a job... But if its in tech (e.g. iOS / Android Dev, Python, Solutions Architect)... then its possible, it will be SPass. So you need 5+ years of experience + high skill set.
Unfortunately wala po, I apply directly and use LinkedIn... but you can try to google and see for agencies in Singapore, then you can send an email to MOM if you wanted to verify if the company is legitimate.

Hi @carloulangco5357, I suggest you get experience atleast 2-3 years bago ka mag-apply sa Singapore... dahil need ng experience para ma-approve yung SPass or EP. There are no specific guidelines on tattoos for work in Singapore. However, it is important to bear in mind that some employers may have dress code policies that prohibit visible tattoos in the workplace or require them to be covered up. I have to pay daw po the work visa S$120 but I don't really understand how to proceed from there, ako po ba magaapply ng work visa ko? or agent need magapply for me?? 😅😅
Hello @dnztv8012 unfortunately mukhang scam yan Job Offer. Yung company ang nagbabayad ng Employment Pass or SPass. You dont need to pay for it. If a company is asking you to pay something na hindi ka pa magsstart its highly scam. Background check that company or if makapag send ka ng email sa Ministry of Manpower mas OK.
Kapag i-issue yung EP need na yung address na lalagay mo naka-register ka, if not hindi magpro-proceed yung issuance ng EP (I think for renewal). Also better paalam mo sa relative mo na gagamitin mo yung address nila.
@JaeMadayag Yes pwde ka magpa-interview kahit nasa PH ka, then once magbigay sila ng job offer sayo saka palang nila aapply yung EP or SPass mo... If EP Self-Assessment-Tool muna para alam if papasa sa COMPASS Framework. Then once ma-approve na yung EP or SPass pwde ka mag-travel na to SG.

I'm not also sure what is the success rate dahil nasa IT field ako. What I usually advise take yung self-assessment-tool then apply online... Tip: you can search in google schools in singapore then look for their website -> then get the email and submit your CV to them.
Hi @user-ej1vl5ou8b yes just continue applying sa jobstreet or linkedin. Medyo mahirap kasi for HR role dahil its a job na priority for Singaporeans. But just keep on trying...
hello sir . ask ko lang po if ever kasi na initial interview na ako kanina from S&P Manpower Agency next daw po is interview sa Manager , if ever ba sir na mkuha ako sa job may babayaran po kaya ako? salamat sir
Hi, as far as I know usually kapag dumaan ka sa manpower yung employer ang magbabayad ng fee mo, better ask the manpower first what is the arrangement para hindi kayo nagkakagulatan.
In that case hindi pwde dahil I think verified dapat yung address also alam ko nagre-redirect sa singpass...

Thank you.
Hi @Mariacristii97 by right kapag nasa Pinas ka at na-approve yung SPass or EP mo, bago ka pumunta ng SG ay ayusin mo muna yung OWWA at Contract Verification dyan sa Pinas... kaso kasi ang feedback ng iba ang tagal daw ng proseso... Kaya ang ginagawa ng iba is nagbook as tourist papunta sa SG then pagdating dito sa SG saka nila inaayos yung OWWA at Contract Verification, check this link mwosingapore.dmw.gov.ph/index.php/contract-verification-for-professional-skilled-workers/ Do take note bawal yung ganun na may SPass/EP (or IPA) ka na then mag-tourist ka, wag mo sasabihin sa Immigration Officer na may work ka dahil for sure ho-hold ka dahil dapat meron ka OWWA na.
Hi @roseflores, wala kayong dapat bayaran kapag binigyan kayo ng job offer ng company... at wala din kayong dapat bayaran kapag in-apply nila sa MOM yung work pass ninyo. Mag-ingat tayo sa scam, yung iba ginagawa is sasabihin nila ay it-train kayo (1-2 weeks) papangakuan kayo ng trabaho (or something like that)... then pagbabayarin nila kayo sa training... then pag natapos na yung training ay walang trabaho...
Hello @nimfasantos619 I think the age limit as per checking sa Self-Assessment Tool ng MOM is 60... kapag work permit naman is 50... @legit6930 as tourist you need to have a return ticket or your next destination, nasa discretion na kasi ng IO yung if aask yung ticket or hindi... so to be safe book a 2 way ticket, yung return ticket mo kahit 1-2 weeks lang. So make it just 1-2 weeks (as tourist)... then once nasa SG ka na you can rebook it. Then check the prices of rebooking ng ticket mo ahead para alam mo magkano... huwag kung kelan nasa SG ka na para hindi ko mabigla in case meron babayaran.

Hi Sir Nick, if na-hire kayo sa Pinas (meaning na-approve yung In-Principle Approval or IPA), mas madali if pupunta kayo ng Singapore as tourist pero kasi kapag nalaman ng immigration officer na ganun ang case ay baka i-hold kayo at hanapan ng mga OFW documents like OWWA membership and OEC... so risky kaya if ganun ang plan ninyo huwag ninyo sasabihin na may work na kayo... simply just tourist then pagdating ninyo sa Singapore saka ninyo ayusin sa PH Embassy sa Singapore yung OWWA and OEC atbp docs... Yung iba ginagawa nag-tourist muna sa ibang bansa like Vietnam, Thailand or Malaysia, then from there saka sila pupunta sa Singapore. Kapag inayos ninyo kasi yung OWWA ninyo sa Pinas the problem is sobrang tagal ng processo it will take 3-4 weeks or minsan matagal pa.
Thank you soo much po sir anderson sa sagot nyu ito po talaga magiging step ku pra d lumaki gasto ku sa SG kung dun pa aku mag plan mag apply i'll make sure na ma hired muna aku dito sa PH pra pag dating dun sure na may work aku hehe thank you tlaga sa sagot sir godbless

Hi @zeihhh3422, hindi ma-approve yung SPass or EP mo if no experience or fresh grad. (foreigners).
Sa Singaporean lang po yung fresh graduate.
I'd suggest na kuha muna kayo ng experience atleast 3-5 years bago mag-abroad.

Good day! @MrAndersonSo ask lang po...pag 1st timer applicant para po sa F&B as Bartender may age limit ba? well-experienced po ako as Bartender

If dadaan kayo sa OWWA, yes you need OEC... matagal tagal ang proseso if sa Pilipinas ninyo lalakarin yan documents...
hindi din kayo pwde lumabas ng bansa as OFW kahit meron na kayong IPA, haharangin kayo sa immigration if wala kayong OWWA at OEC.
Yung iba lumalabas as tourist then pag dating sa SG saka nila inaayos yung docs (OEC, OWWA, Contract Verification etc...)

Yung iba ginagawa nag-tourist muna sa ibang bansa like Vietnam, Thailand or Malaysia, then from there saka sila pupunta sa Singapore.
