What’s with all these “win the lottery” guys? $700 is a lot for a rod, yes...but it’s not outrageous in terms of outdoor gear. My most “expensive” setup is an nrx/20 metanium....a thousand dollar combo on paper. I got the metanium for $300 and the nrx for $400. You just have to shop smart and not be afraid to buy “used once” or “dealer demos”. Guys won’t think twice about spending $2000 on an ar-15 or a high end 1911 but whoa, WHOA! $700 for a rod? Now you’re just talking crazy.. You guys would not survive the fly fishing market. Those rods push a grand alllll day long.
Most have no clue at all, fly rods and reels can reach into the $2k-$3500 range for a complete set up easily. All I use is conquests, nrx ,nrx+ new Glx’s and old Glx’s for spinning and casting my boat is filled with both, they either have a 2020 metanium mgl b, steez sv tw for casting and Exsence and certates for spinning . I absolutely love high end gear and I paid full retail for all of it just because I’m an enthusiast and sort of a collector but I also fish a lot.

I've got 3..the 903c 842s and 902s.....ive sold a couple NRX to fish the conquest I have
@Sjsnsjisba I love em
@@davidnewcomb2431 what you use the 902s for
Hey I’m deciding between a 902s and an 842s mainly for jigging walleye, what do you find feels like the lighter of those two rods
How well does the 782c MBR work for jerkbaits?
At that price, they must have gold guides or something. Maybe after I win the lottery.
916 NRX or 905 C conquest?
Win the lottery then I’ll buy a set of those gloomis conquest rods. I’ll buy one for the hell of it
I have 4 loomis rods, love more Kistler rods!
Sorry not for the average Joe, like me, way too much money.
It's not for the average Joe.
