My grandpa has this screensaver. When I have to stay in the computer room of the shop he works in while I'm staying over, I watch this. It followed me through most of my childhood.
Interesting. I clip grabbed it. but play the U tuber one when playing music on VLC.. and this is my 'nightlight'. It is my screensaver so jus shut off the screen light, and this runs and I never have to boot up.. but I am older like your grandpa, and probably lazier :-)
My hospital has this too, when the nurse came out the exam room and the computer was set still, this screensaver popped up, these screensavers kinda jumpscared me just how those lines were coming at me, but I kinda liked it.
This screensaver changed my life. In the ‘80s I was a machinist that programmed and operated CNC chuckers. When programming, trigonometry is use to calculate point locations so you can describe where you want the machine to move. So I’m watching this screen saver and it hit me: Anything can be calculated and/or described using math. In this case, just move one point and the whole thing changes. Mind blown. Obviously, I went to the school of hard knocks, not college. I got to figure-out much of life on my own. Never forget: Numbers don’t lie, people do.
This screensaver combined with a led strip in red color behind the tv in a dark room is fantastic. Don't forget to set the tv to high contrast and below brightness, the effect will be spectacular. Greetings from Brazil
One month update: I like finding things that are useful & efficient... This is one of them. It doesn't have distracting noise or ridiculous brightness, but it has just enough going on that it doesn't burn images into sensitive screens. I can even tell how long I've slept because of the duration.

About 2 years ago I experienced an extremely high-volume fart that ignited and produced this visual light show exactly. It disappeared quickly but I have found it once again! Hallelujah!

An OLED screen brings this to the next level, the screen is 100% dark so in a dark room this seems even more magical
