This is how Maya has blood tests every week. Post-chemo blood tests and pre-chemo blood test. Her strength and resilience is amazing! I have known a lot of grown man who is needle-phobic and hates to see the sight of blood. And here is Maya, such a pro, which is also sad because as a child, she shouldn’t have to go through this. She shouldn’t have to know portacath or Hickman line or cannula….but here she is braving it all. She goes through the motion without complain. Maya inspires me.
