The guy with the glasses is Terry Lin, a singer from Taiwan, who was another competitor. He and Dimash became very close friends--Dimash calls him Lin Papa. Lin has quite a voice and vocal range himself. He and Dimash have performed together several times, most recently at the Jackie Chan action movie festival.
During this competition, Dimash was only 22 and the youngest to have participated in the history of the show. He couldn't understand any chinese language nor English. He usually travels with a translator. He is currently still learning Mandarin and English. The guy with the glasses is a 53 y.o established Taiwanese singer and a fellow contestant. He met Dimash during this competition and they quickly bonded which sometimes appears to be like a son and father relationship. Dimash calls him Papa Lin. There was a recorded video of them meeting few times after this competition and they performed together during the last Jackie Chan International Action Film Week in Datong, China. Dimash established many friendships during this competition and some of them were the contestants of this show. What I like about this show is, all the constestants support and applause for each other. You can see their genuine support for Dimash in their facial expressions when Dimash performed. They called him the imported little brother.

Dimash was second at the end of the show (the winner was a Chinese singer; obviously, Chinese didn't let a foreigner win the show !!!!). Terry Lin was 5th. They, they're friends.
Dimash was offered a spot with the Astana Opera, but turned it down. He didn't want to be limited to only opera, but rather wanted to incorporate classical into pop and traditional Kazakh music.
The man with glasses is Terry Lin/Lyn,a professional Taiwanese Chinese singer,who also a contestant in the same talent show with Dimash.He later became Dimash's best friend.Terry sang the song entitled Unforgettable Day(composed by Dimash) as a duet singing with Dimash.Terry was in his fifties at that time.Dimash still proves to be the best in my opinion.❤

Смотрела сначала на китайском языке с самой начальной заставки до завершающих титров, не понимая ни слова и только считывая выражения лиц, глаз, поглощая эмоции и зала, и участников:) Потом, спустя неделю, я караулила, когда появится полная версия с английскими субтитрами и вновь переживала за Димаша. Как его воспринимают, что о нем говорят, как он себя ощущает на чужой земле? Шоу длилось очень долго, больше 3 месяцев. Это было очень сложное испытание. Но то, как у него все складывалось на шоу - это стоило всех усилий:) Я почти полюбила всех участников конкурса, потому что я видела, сколько сил они вкладывали в каждое выступление, как волновались, как радовались друг за друга и переживали. Я каждый раз чуть не со слезами провожала выбывающих конкурсантов и напряжённо вглядывалась в новичков. В общем, Singer 2017 - это явление. Явление Димаша. И явление другого Китая для меня. Я не призываю вас смотреть полные версии всех 14 дней конкурса, но как же много вы бы обрели в понимании, насколько обаятелен Димаш, харизматичен, человечен, и насколько вырос Димаш с того времени в профессиональном плане:) Вы мне нравитесь:)

Dimash is not the first person to do this song. He is so far the only male singer to do it.....and to do it LIVE multiple times already. The rest were all females. I've watched ALL versions of Diva Dance. Those females definitely are all good....but in my opinion, the best solid versions still are from Dimash. His Diva Dance in his solo Bastau concert was POWERFUL. His version at his Shenzhen concert had high piercing sounds insert...

@@comedianstanshelby857 K. Just know, there's no guarantee when he'll be back in the states for a solo concerts.. it's not like he has a world tour where he performs in multiple states. This is his first solo concert here and who knows where/when he will have another one. (Also the Kazakhstan Embassy is funding the concert, so the tickets are incredibly inexpensive--- it definitely won't be that way if/when he performs in the US again)....

In our fan clubs, many people are crying how they couldn't go to this concert, especially those who live in America. Some don't have money and some can't go at that exact date. On the other hand, many people are grabbing this opportunity tightly. We don't know when he would have a solo concert in USA again, though I personally think there should be more next year. As of now, he has planned quite a few concerts in Russia. One is in November. And I heard a rumor of three more next year, in different cities. DKIFC/THAILAND
The concert at Barclay's is his first solo concert in America. Tickets to the 19,000 seat arena are selling fast, so maybe we can look forward to more N American concerts in the future. barclays in december will be his first solo concert here in US. here will be there in october(i think) to perform for an event for Igor Krutoy. He was here last year to film the show The Worlds Best. Love you guys! I totally understand why you 'laugh...' - Dimash is unbelievable so laughing is almost like saying 'he's just not from this world' and it's incredulous that a human has this voice. The guy they show a couple of times watching Dimash, one is at 8:03 standing in the middle of two guys is his Dad. His Dad and Mom as well are both well known singers in Kazakhstan. His father also is a record producer. Dimash has won awards for both his piano playing and singing since he was around 7 I may be off a bit. It may be off a year. Listening to Dimash never gets old! He's out of this world! Yah, the Golden Child was a great movie. You might be right about Dimash!

Dimash was offered a place in the national Kazakh opera house but he refused wanting to explore music in a wider scale. And even when his full Opera voice is something else I am glad he refused so we can hear him in such a variety of styles and in a way I think he brought many people who do not like operatic music to appreciate it.

His ARNAU series concerts...last was held in Dimash's homeland Kazakhstan, capital is Nur Sultan. That concert sold out more than 40,000 tickets and attended by fans from at least 64 countries. More than 13,000 from thise 40plus thousands were international fans that travelled more than half the world just to see Dimash's live performances. His next Arnau would be at the Ice Palace - St Petersburg, Russia. After that his next ARNAU would be Barclays Centre, Brooklyn - New York, December 10th, 2019. His Barclays Centre's concert tickets just open for public's sale couple of days ago. By now probably those best seats would all be snapped up already.

Skinny dude with glasses (in the super colorful clothing) is one of my favorite "human" singers (Dimash is an alien), Terry Lin. Dimash and him became fast friends because of how much they respected each other's voices, and they invited each other to each other's concerts to perform all the time. Dimash calls him "papa Lin" since Terry was 52 during the competition (54 now). This is still the same competition in China, Singer 2017.

Dimas is a 25 year old (he was 23 in the competition) tall of 1.91cm and with a warm soul, there are many videos with him and the children, he loves it and we adore him when we see him in these situations. This year he participated in the "best in the world" an international competition in the USA, he reached the semifinal and gave up $ 1 million because he had competed with 2 children, he let them go to the final. The jury was angry, he did not know that there are children in the competition. The more you know him, the more you love him

Oh, the winner of the competition was one of the much older women. What were the odds that for the first time China ever allows a non Chinese singer and the youngest singer ever on the show to win? So he came in second. That still screams phenomenal when you take everything into account. The singers are rated weekly and Dimash came in 1st three weeks during the competition. He came in 1st singing SOS. The better you are the longer the audience has to wait to hear you. Dimash being the wild card and being unheard of in China was put on first on the first episode. People clapped when he came out because the show was finally starting, not because they were excited he was on. But he won first place that night. I love listening to him and do so pretty much everyday when I am in the car.

You OUGHT TO go to his New York concert! People travel from all over the world just to have a chance to see him sing live at his own solo concert coz it’s something else!! I’ve been to his 5 shows. And it’s never the same and it’s freaking insane!!! I wish I could go to New York... he changed my life, he changed lives of millions of people💜🙏🏼 you’ll regret for the rest of your lives if you don’t go😅 So GOOOOOOOO😘

@@comedianstanshelby857 K. Just know, there's no guarantee when he'll be back in the states for a solo concerts.. it's not like he has a world tour where he performs in multiple states. This is his first solo concert here and who knows where/when he will have another one. (Also the Kazakhstan Embassy is funding the concert, so the tickets are incredibly inexpensive--- it definitely won't be that way if/when he performs in the US again)....

In our fan clubs, many people are crying how they couldn't go to this concert, especially those who live in America. Some don't have money and some can't go at that exact date.
On the other hand, many people are grabbing this opportunity tightly. We don't know when he would have a solo concert in USA again, though I personally think there should be more next year. As of now, he has planned quite a few concerts in Russia. One is in November. And I heard a rumor of three more next year, in different cities.

The concert at Barclay's is his first solo concert in America. Tickets to the 19,000 seat arena are selling fast, so maybe we can look forward to more N American concerts in the future. barclays in december will be his first solo concert here in US. here will be there in october(i think) to perform for an event for Igor Krutoy. He was here last year to film the show The Worlds Best. STAY AWAY FROM IT. they disrespected him so much Im embarrassed. We don't want reactors supporting that show.

Love you guys! I totally understand why you 'laugh...' - Dimash is unbelievable so laughing is almost like saying 'he's just not from this world' and it's incredulous that a human has this voice. Keep up the great comments. So glad you found Dimash. I found out about him about a year ago and couldn't believe he wasn't world famous back then.
The guy they show a couple of times watching Dimash, one is at 8:03 standing in the middle of two guys is his Dad. His Dad and Mom as well are both well known singers in Kazakhstan. His father also is a record producer. Dimash has won awards for both his piano playing and singing since he was around 7 I may be off a bit. It may be off a year. Listening to Dimash never gets old! He's out of this world! Yah, the Golden Child was a great movie. You might be right about Dimash!

Dimash was offered a place in the national Kazakh opera house but he refused wanting to explore music in a wider scale. And even when his full Opera voice is something else I am glad he refused so we can hear him in such a variety of styles and in a way I think he brought many people who do not like operatic music to appreciate it.

His ARNAU series concerts...last was held in Dimash's homeland Kazakhstan, capital is Nur Sultan. That concert sold out more than 40,000 tickets and attended by fans from at least 64 countries. More than 13,000 from thise 40plus thousands were international fans that travelled more than half the world just to see Dimash's live performances. His next Arnau would be at the Ice Palace - St Petersburg, Russia. After that his next ARNAU would be Barclays Centre, Brooklyn - New York, December 10th, 2019. His Barclays Centre's concert tickets just open for public's sale couple of days ago. By now probably those best seats would all be snapped up already.

Skinny dude with glasses (in the super colorful clothing) is one of my favorite "human" singers (Dimash is an alien), Terry Lin. Dimash and him became fast friends because of how much they respected each other's voices, and they invited each other to each other's concerts to perform all the time. Dimash calls him "papa Lin" since Terry was 52 during the competition (54 now). This is still the same competition in China, Singer 2017.

Dimas is a 25 year old (he was 23 in the competition) tall of 1.91cm and with a warm soul, there are many videos with him and the children, he loves it and we adore him when we see him in these situations. This year he participated in the "best in the world" an international competition in the USA, he reached the semifinal and gave up $ 1 million because he had competed with 2 children, he let them go to the final. The jury was angry, he did not know that there are children in the competition. The more you know him, the more you love him

Oh, the winner of the competition was one of the much older women. What were the odds that for the first time China ever allows a non Chinese singer and the youngest singer ever on the show to win? So he came in second. That still screams phenomenal when you take everything into account. The singers are rated weekly and Dimash came in 1st three weeks during the competition. He came in 1st singing SOS. The better you are the longer the audience has to wait to hear you. Dimash being the wild card and being unheard of in China was put on first on the first episode. People clapped when he came out because the show was finally starting, not because they were excited he was on. But he won first place that night. I love listening to him and do so pretty much everyday when I am in the car.
