      Thank you William. It was a pretty interesting acoustics here in the Balsamico factory, a little bit noisy, though.

    This is one of the more enigmatic, daring, and challenging CPE sonatas. Definitely, a fine performance. The "lute" stop in the slow movement was very affective. Another thing -- It can't be easy keeping the harpsichord in tune in a winery cellar. You must to have had to record this quickly, tuned a lot, or both!

      He may also have done the kind of tuning his father did,which was each key was tuned to each other instead of the the convention of what was an objective E or A or F. If you know what I mean.
