This song had me in ugly tears the other day when I first heard it. I'm getting married in June and lost my father in 2019 and my brother in 2020. I almost died myself in 2019 when I almost drank myself (liver transplant survivor) from finding someone important to me overdosed on my floor of my apt in 2018. I'm blessed to have found my fiance in such a hard point in my life but God saved me, my children, and my fiance. I found the strength and realized liquor won't bring them back...losing my brother in 2020 was a test. This song is beautiful thank you

His voice is consistently so good. I'm so jealous 😭😅 His effortless timbre that sits perfectly on top of guitar or other instrumentation is something you're either born with or not. Pitch accuracy, resonance, agility -- you can train all of those things into yourself. But his tone/timbre is a rare gift indeed :)
Ed Sheeran only did one concert in NYC this April and he chose this little gem of a restored vaudeville theater in a working class, Caribbean Brooklyn neighborhood. He even stood at the subway station nearby to give out tickets to people who would take them. I admire him for being so modest and down to earth. Notice he wasn't wearing any mic for this recording yet his voice came through very crisp and smooth. The opulent theater was designed using Renaissance Golden Ratios that optimized sound quality.
