So excited to see this video as Glacier National Park is on my bucket list!! It is every bit as beautiful as I imagined. What a great tip.ablut the best time of day to visit. So very helpful. Thanks a bunch.
Glorious Life On Wheels Thanks my friend it is beautiful and one of the most crowded of our national parks. But as we said practically no crowds if you go late in the day, it stays daylight so late that it works really great. Plus added bonus is I could take better videos during that time of day, sun was perfect. And it was even better on our next video going to Rising Sun some spectacular views so don’t miss it next week. Thanks for watching my friend and bringing all the great food videos.
We wanted to go there this year but just couldn't make it. I loved your video and good information for when we do go. I can't believe though that you guys drive your RV on these roads. You are a lot braver than me. We tried to go on the Million Dollar Road in Colorado in just a truck and we were both so nervous we turned around. This looks a little easier and I think this time we would be in a car. Thanks for sharing!
Karen Hodges No we drove our truck, we have a long bed Dodge Ram. Could never drive a RV across this road, way to dangerous(our fiver is 36’ plus the long bed truck would never make it....You will love Glacier, just make sure you go late enough for snow removal on the Going to the Sun Road to be open, otherwise only a small portion is open. Thank you so much Karen have a blessed day....
WOW!! Another incredible video with such beautiful sights! Did they have "closing hours?" COuld you stay after sunset? I would love to get some sunset images an maybe some Astro images in that area! Looks like a photographers paradise! Speaking of the continental divide, I have a friend that did a "Continental Divide Bike ride." He started in Banfe Canada and rode all the wat to the New Mexico/Mexico border in 28 days!! Thanks again for sharing and looking forward to the next one!
Gary McClure Gary the park is open 24 hours a day. Sunset would be so late in the park way past our bedtime. It is a gorgeous area that we’ve wanted to go to for ages so we can mark that off our bucket list. Your friend must really be an amazing biker to ride that far. I saw a few bikers on The Going To The Sun Road but with the altitude and such a steep incline it would be very difficult. Loved our amazing trip this last summer, I have to stop and just be amazed at all the gorgeous areas we visited. Thanks my friend
We were at Columbia Falls, MT for the month of July. We loved Montana, so much to do and see and Columbia Falls was a great home base to use for Glacier. Thanks for watching my friend have a great day.....
