One thing that Vessel does extraordinarily well is mixing multiple melodies that are different in tune and lyrics, but fit together perfectly. And if you know where to look there are YT vids of pre-Vessel doing piano covers of Periphery and Animals as Leaders songs flawlessly, so Vessel is an extremely talented musician. He doesn't have to write simply, he chooses to, as to not cover up the message.

He understands how it all works and is methodical about everything he does. All the vocals, piano, bass, guitar and synths are written and recorded by Vessel alone. ii writes and records the drums, iii, iv and espera (backup singers) are for live shows. Not for recording
This last tour ST did here in the States, they opened their show with this song. I was on the edge of my seat as soon as that intro started up and the entire arena erupted with enthusiastic screams. There's a new saga coming at the end of the month so a lot of people are looking for new reactions to it! It's a retelling of the Odyssey and the fan animations people have made to go with it are AMAZING! Make sure you watch everything in order if you do decide to check it out, I'd recommend Gigi's animatic for The Horse And The Infant, the first song in the story. Definitely pair a fan animation with each song, it's much easier to understand the story that way. You breaking stuff down and learning what stuff you're already into sounds interesting. Are you familiar with the band BLUE OCTOBER? Their sound FEAR literally saved me a few years back. I hadn't listened to any music for 10 yrs or so. I had been battling addiction, anxiety, depression, and grief. The first time I ever scrolled thru youtube I found that song fear and it just brought music back into my life again. music🎶is🔮magic. It's a BEAUTIFUL video if ya get chance to check it out. 💙
