- A piston-cylinder device contains 0.005 m^3 of liquid water and 0.9 m^3 of water vapor in equilibrium at 600 kPa. Heat is transferred at constant pressure until the temperature reaches 200°C.
Determine the following:
The initial temperature of the water (°C)
The total mass of the water (kg)
The final volume (m^3)
The amount of work done in the process (kJ)
The amount of heat transferred during the process (kJ)
Show the process on a P-v diagram with respect to saturation lines.
