Thanks I’m just having a bad issue with a water leak in the front drivers footwell wen it rains seems to be holding water somewhere wen u drive it leaks onto the footwell floor looked everywhere can’t find it I’ve even had the windscreen removed and resealed on this 2015 fiesta
This is uk models. American models are much more difficult as there are 5 screws and NO room to manipulate the filter in and out. Word of advice……get a genuine Ford part as I noticed the original filthy filter I took out pops right back into shape after I twisted and mangled it out of its place. No matter how careful I tried to be the new Bosch replacement gets bent up getting it in the housing and won’t recover it’s shape. I’m ordering an oem filter and redoing it so I don’t have crap blowing through the system.
is it that easy? I've watched few different videos and they were all showing multiple screws, some impossible to get to without socket wrench/screwdriver thanks
My 2013 fiesta is different from this, has several extra screws on the cover and requires remova of some dash components, however the video does get you started in the right area.
The console side panel is retained by plastic expansion rivets. Undo the central screw then prise the rivet out. The filter cover is retained by Torx screws.
Excellent video
Thank you very much!

I ordered a ford one from ebay and its a activated carbon one. Thought they would just be bog standard

Just like our manuals, the video is based on our experience in the workshop working on the actual vehicle.

For some reason my screw is inside a wider head and just keeps turning. The screw doesn't actually come out.
The screws and clips are not particularly robust, and fail easily. Might be necessary to prise the screw out, then buy a new clip.
Same problem, screw just turning and don’t come out
Same here. 2014 Fiesta, screw keeps turning but won't come out.
The screw doesn’t screw all the way out like a normal one. You need to pop the whole head and screw out after turning it. It’s more like a grommet
Theres no arrows on mine which way does it go in
What kind of screws hold that panel in place?

@@HaynesManuals thank you. What size?
How come mine is different? 🤔
This is a UK model Fiesta - I'm not sure if there were any variants here.
I just paid 15 pounds labor for this .....
