Purpose Statement, part 2

Why is our church here? What are we supposed to be doing? Is there a purpose behind our gatherings or are we just another service club or social club?
Every few years I like to bring us back to a reminder of our purpose statement. This can help us re-focus our attention and re-affirm the mission God has given to us.
God has called us to glorify Him.
We seek to bring Him glory by:
1. Exalting Christ first in all areas of our lives; both corporately and as individuals
2. Making disciples who are
Knowledgeable in God's word
Able to apply God's Word to their daily lives
Bound together in Agape love
Actively concerned for the welfare of the saints
3. Unleashing the saints to perform the ministry for which God has called and equipped them
