Just a point of clarification, it doesn't need to be a gold helmet. From what I've tested, any piece of gold armor will do. I've worn gold boots and had no issues.
A cheaper auto barterer only needs 2 R-Torches, a comparator, a dropper/dispenser, and a hopper, along with storage. Make a 1x1x3 hole to hold the piglin (lets call him Larry), with a dropper at the top as part of the wall, a hopper as the floor, and a comparator pointing out of the hopper on the same side as the dropper. Place a block in front of the comparator so it points into it, then place an R-Torch on the top of the block. Place another block on top of the first R-Torch, with another R-Torch on top of that block. The top R-Torch should unpower. Fill the Dropper with gold, then power it with a button, and it should drop a gold for Larry. (Put some blocks around the Dropper if gold spills out.) Larry will pick it up, inspect it, and give an item, powering the comparator, which will go up the R-Torches to repower the Dropper, giving another gold to Larry. Larry should be able inspect it long enough to let it flush out. The cycle continues until you're out of gold!
The ones in my game aren't afraid of the zombie ones. They also don't care at all when I open chests. I guess all three of my worlds are glitched in a good way or something.

I'm on bedrock btw. i press the button and then the gold just sits there the piglins don't do anything. and if the piglins do take the gold it doesn't dispense again, i have to press the button Again
Hmm, You could try replacing the block under the pressure plate with a piece of soul sand or you could lower the dispenser by one block then connect a clock (circular chain of repeaters) and then it should dispense in such a way that they can pick up the gold without it going into the bottom chest, If that doesn't work you might just need to use the piglin pit.
Confirmed to NOT work in Bedrock 1.19.... Ugh. The pigs can grab at eye level when you throw ingots. However, the dropper contraption is not working. I can throw a stack at a time direct between the cells where the button is and ingots will get traded without de spawning.

genius that you can trade for obsidian so that way if you’re super desperate to leave the nether you can trade for the obsidian and make a nether portal (assuming you remember a flint and steel)

You are amazing and informative! However, I occasionally curse you for your super relaxing voice, because I find myself zoning out while trying to listen!! Lol. Keep doing what you do.
Great video as always! Just something to add about the auto piglin farm: If you have issues dispensing the gold, forget about the dispenser. 1. Build the farm as usual, a double chest with hopper behind and a cage of glass all around. Don’t put any dispensers or redstone dust or pressure plates. 2. A couple blocks away, separated from the structure, put a sticky piston facing horizontally, and put a gold ore or gold block on its head. 3. Build a redstone clock (there are many tutorials on UA-cam and it’s super easy), then use redstone dust to link it to the piston from behind. 4. Back to the farm, break the glass block at piglin’s feet level and replace it with a top slab. Here’s how it works: usually piglins take 5 or so seconds between one trade and another, which is terribly slow. But, if you continuously make them angry (for example by keeping moving a gold ore) this delay will become almost zero and you will be able to trade an entire 64 stack of gold in less than 5 seconds! Activate the redstone clock, get close to the piglin’s feet, put gold ingot in your hand and spam right click. A simple system which doesn’t ever fail.
I think that the piglins are like half villager and half pillaged because you can barter with them which is like trading and they have crossbows like the pillager
I made it correctly but the gold just keeps staying on the pressure plate and the dropper isn’t dropped it out the same speed as his anyone know what’s going on
I think I got a problem Piglins in my world dont pick the gold instead I have to click them every time. They are not attracted to gold if its on ground. Is there a way to fix this?
Is there a way to get blaze rods from mobs exept goin in a fortress and killing blaze's cuz the fortress in my survival word is about 450 blocks away and icant travel that far in the nether cuz im sure that i will just die and lose all my items icant even count how many times ive died in the nether
My biggest question on Piglins. HOW DO THEY HAVE WATER BOTTLES. Did some go to the overworld and get water? And the ones who didn’t make it back in time became Zombified Piglins? Are they scared of them because it’s traumatizing to be reminded of their unfortunate mission? LOREEEEE

I swear to god this man makes guides perfectly timed with the progression I am doing on my new world lol. Also, weren't Piglins also able to very rarely give a Netherite hoe as well? Also also, why the F[damn] does Mojang keep making dumb differences between Bedrock and Java, this being a good example. Just why.
In the snapshots of 1.16 they were able to give you a netherite hoe about as commonly as the soul speed book (so in a big bartering session you would have gotten tons of them) Also bedrock and java have a bunch of weird differences because they are developed by two completely different teams, Java is coded by one team in Stockholm Sweden, bedrock is coded by another team in Seattle USA.
@@Eyecraftmc So I guess they removed the netherrite hoe from the loot table then? Sadge, makes creating a hoe more of a risky thing for lols when you're low on netherrite like with diamonds then I guess. Also with Java and Bedrock having two different teams, I feel dumb for not thinking about this obvious thing bruh, but still, why is it that they can't communicate a bit with each other for this kind of start? Like for example crossbow, it recently got more durability in 1.18 to match with Bedrock edition crossbow and it wasn't even mentioned in patch notes as I was told, why couldn't they just communicate about gameplay stuff like that?
