I can testify as a gamer who didn't grow up on trick-taking games and generally don't really like them... that I really liked both versions of The Crew. The fact that it is cooperative and that you are solving a puzzle, basically, sells it to me. I genuinely like it and will always happily play it. :-)
Definitely a couple of times in the crew 1 where several accomplished eucher and 500 players were able to conclude some missions that were impossible due to the goals dealt out. But sometimes you are dealt the hand sometimes not so gets that feeling of trick taking which is cool. Such a great series thanks as always for such a thoughtful review.
Pretty sure that you're supposed to get exactly the mission task value. So you wouldn't accept the 3 for the last one, you'd keep searching till you found a 1.
@@DriveThruReview You had me running to the rulebook to see if we were playing wrong. :) Hard mode indeed might have had some effect on the times you were unable to complete the tasks.
4 games out of 10 is not bad considering there are games that use dice which increase chances of undesirable things (or unavoidable things) happening feel much higher. Shuffling the cards again does seem odd but something that can easily be looked over. To be able to play so many games in one night with a group sounds like a huge win to me. If I could only get my family to leave their devices for one night... Thanks for taking the time to make this review.

Awesome. Happy to hear it :)
you’ve never had to play with Billy, KabukiKid.
@@ewm7347 Funny story... I actually had to edit out "Billy's" real name from this video.
@@DriveThruReview The mic doesn’t automatically do that?
