Thanks for the very clear explanation on how to put suspension on ms chassis ,i will make it into my 30yr old manta ray mk 2. Is it advisable to make a manta ray for this ,i want your opinion.
@Mad Tang Thanks for the video. I have been looking for this newer style MS suspension. I have followed your FMAR, OLD MS suspension and now this. BTW, I know you mentioned your friend both the MS suspension cutting adapter tool in Amazon JP but do you have a product brand and name. I have been looking for one. There are even 3d printed parts (cant find the files tho) but this look more sturdy.
@@MadTangmini4wd all good thanks for replying. btw, messaged you on your website. somehow no postal option for the country I'm in now. Love the custom stuff you got. Its good that you provide vids tutorial how to do things but also good you have a website to help those that dont have the means to do the mods. Keep up the great contents/vids. Thanks again
Hi Johnathan, I want to thank you for the 2018 MS videos and all the other videos you have done. I have watched Mini 4WD videos from all over the world and your videos are (IMHO) the BEST of the BEST. Your work is the most professional and informative, and on top of that you also give us the why you use this or that and other ways to do the same thing. Johnathan Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU! P.S. Johnathan, do you know of anyone runny Mini 4WD in northern California at this time? I live just south of San Francisco, in Pacifica and would luv to race with them. Thank you for your time and help! Darris
Nice! Question, On the m4race forums, they say that MS-L is not used anymore because its too fragile, and they prefer more robust setups, is this the case in 2019? and will you be selling this custom MS Chassis on your facebook ?
Regardless of m4race....I went to Japan for Japan cup for pass three years, I also did my research. What I saw , also talked to pro racers in Japan.... this is how I learn. I notice in Japan , top racer, first I notice nobody use carbon reinforce chassis for ms suspension. A lot of people use MS-L ABS reinforce or regular MS-L. Also there are a lot of people using old generation MS chassis on front and rear bumper which as know as having better transmission power. People mix parts for reason. At least in general the regular MS-L is good chassis to start with... especially the purple / green MS chassis package which made in Japan, very precise and smooth, pink/grey same thing. By the way. Sometimes MS suspension , chassis need to have some flexibility.
Thank you Mad Tang! It's was so helpful. But here's my question. Comparison to the old type MS suspension which has aluminum pipe in it, the new type has less durability, I heard. Is it true? And especially about the stability and speed, the new type is better?
허윤회 well. Do you need durability on ms suspension? I don’t think so, because you get hit bad, no matter it will break anyway......anyway new style is good for low profile wheel, and more easy to modify. And support pole instead of aluminum , it is more precise. But anyway depend on how good you are on craft and also depend on track layout and overall setup
Good day Mad tang Can you give some sort of advice or tips for amateur racer who wants to build a Ready to race car for speedtech course like what is the best chassi for beginners. Thanks in advance
